  2. In the event that it is displaying warnings on Idrive, what diagnostic equipment was used to scan it? If so, there should be a code someplace.

  4. In the same vein as before, the coolant temperature sensor is probably not connected or has an open circuit. Section 5 located behind the skull.
  5. Apologies, but I don't see any error signals on this F20 N13 engine. Can you tell me where the temperature sensor is?
  6. To narrow things down, get it examined for codes. things might be a defective temperature sensor.
  7. Hello, I'm hoping someone can lend me a hand with I have a 2012 F13 1 Series 1.6 Thanks in advance for any help you can provide; I'm having trouble starting the car from a cold start, and the radiator fan turns on along with a warning that the engine is overheating.

  9. These wheels are indeed the original three-piece AMG wheels. He only keeps them in his garage with his R129 91' SL500; he has no plans to restore them.

  11. Many respectable businesses are willing to do that... I don't have personal experience with them, but I think Lepsons have been brought up before:
  12. These are probably sitting in a friend's garage, awaiting restoration.

  16. Some single-piece copies are available; they are virtually identical (with faux "bolts" around the rim) and cost a tenth of what the real thing used to cost. By the way, I was able to acquire an authentic R129 AMG accessories rear box through eBay.de — they are exceptionally uncommon because they were incredibly pricey when they were first released. Standard equipment with simple steel tailpipes facing downwards was even installed on the SL60 AMG.
  17. The actual name is "AMG I" 18" 2-piece, in case it makes a difference. The creator, BBS, nevertheless, is frequently brought up. In the front, you'll find the following dimensions: 18x8.5 ET 25, 245/40. Setbacks: 18x10 ET 25, 275/35 My wheels came from AlloyWheelsDirect, however you might try searching on eBay.de or another German site. They may be able to recommend someone who does, but they don't currently have any listed.
  18. Hi there, I'm crossing my fingers that this is the correct forum to publish this on. However, I am overjoyed to have just acquired an R129. Putting on a set of AMG BBS staggered alloys is something I'm really looking forward to. The Two Piece AMG wheels, I think you might say? Sure, I've perused all the copies on eBay, but I was hoping someone would have a set they're selling or at least suggest a good place to hunt. A long shot, I know, but nobody gets fed if they don't speak! In advance, I appreciate it.
  19. As long as it's not being carried by an undressed infant and it's legal, it's good.
  20. My PCP rifle, which I use when there are rats around, would be perfect for posting if I didn't fear being banned 😂
  21. Thank you, I get it! Should rats are present, it would be wise to prepare those peppermint oils.
  22. It seems like there was a temporary canbus problem that prevented the startup checks from reading your turn signal. After that, it correctly read the system the following time you switched it on.
  23. A few days ago, as I was running errands throughout the day, and as the day came to a close, the left turn signal began flashing suddenly. I hardly use them, therefore I don't think they will ever be worn. There is no rapid fire turn signal the next day. If the X3 can mend itself, please tell me.
  24. Doesn't every service work include the replacement of sump bolts according to MB manufacturer policy? Is it a good idea to get new bolts if the old ones seize or peel easily?
  25. It's part of the job, and it can happen to any automobile, old or new. Just ask any technician about seized, rounded, or stripped bolts. They are typically not a problem if you have the correct equipment and knowledge, provided you have at least fair access.
