As far as I can tell, the glowing light just modifies the suspension to make it more sporty. The E/M/S buttons on the left are responsible for adjusting the engine's characteristics; this button does not accomplish that. Is it possible that the vehicle has detected your preferred driving style and adjusted the suspension accordingly?

The S M E switch appears to be operating as intended. It doesn't seem to trigger Sport mode and doesn't seem to be an issue. Also, I don't think Sport modifies the suspension on my car. The S.M.E. switch still works for me to alter modes. The yearly service, which includes changing the gearbox fluid, is scheduled for early June. Would appreciate it if someone could provide some light on this matter.

The 2015 E400 that I've had for the past seven years. I often use the default comfort setting when driving, although I do sometimes switch to sport mode while in flight. I just realised that when I go on a trip, it switches to Sport mode from Comfort mode somewhat abruptly.

Following the advice of "sceh" in his suspension thread post, I'm going to try replacing the plugs in the brake switch and the wheel sensor.

The hold and cruise controls do not function, and the ABS warning light comes on whenever I turn the key.

I take it that everything else is functioning well, but hold and cruise aren't? Are there no trouble signals at the cluster?

The "Hold" and cruise control functions rely on the wheel-mounted speed sensor wire.

Because I have a few of ABS cables that I have removed but am unsure of their quality, I was wondering if there was a method to test them to see whether they were defective.

The flaps closing against intake constitute the stop point, hence the answer is no, regrettably.

Yeah, the only thing is that I personally just have BimmerCode, so I'll have to search around then. With the new intake's bar and flaps removed, I figured I could get away with it.
