"This vehicle has already been created." is the message that appears when I try to register the automobile, despite the fact that I registered for Mercedes Me previously. To verify your identity as the vehicle's new owner, please get in touch with your local Mercedes-Benz dealer. Does anybody have any idea how much the pin code to authorise a download from Mercedes Me would cost? I plan to call my local dealer tomorrow to find out.
-
No, you may get the map data for free right from Mercedes-Benz with Mercedes me. Just be sure you purchase the PIN code associated with your VIN. Instead of downloading 50 GB on your home Internet, you may utilise the SD card that the vendor is providing. It was my intention to address the worry that the SD card provided by the vendor may be corrupted and cause the installation to fail.
-
I take it that you got it for free? After you confirm the card is suitable by providing the VIN number when you purchase, the vendor will send you an SD card with instructions and a PIN.
-
Thank you once again for the very useful response.
-
So long as you have the seller's PIN number, you may download the maps on a USB drive (~50gb) using your PC. There will be no damage done if you enter the wrong PIN since you will be asked for it before the installation begins. I've tried this several times and each time it worked. If you happen to encounter an erratic "can't read data" notice, just take out and re-insert the USB drive or SD card, and it will resume from the point it was before. Using three SD-Cards or USB drives is the correct method; the capacity is irrelevant; what matters is that the drives "mimick" the original three DVD installation. The process requires keeping the engine running (or having the battery hooked up to a trickle charger) for around 60 to 90 minutes. Even if you can't use the satellite navigation system, you may still drive the vehicle while the update is underway. The update will halt if you turn off the engine, but it will resume once you turn it back on.

You're absolutely right; I'm grateful. You may find a vendor on eBay with reasonable prices and positive reviews; thus, updating via SD card should work. The fact that I do not own the original installation program is causing me anxiety in the event that it corrupts the existing maps.

All three generations of NTG 4.5 (also known as NTG4.7) have identical maps. Your late-2013 vehicle should have NTG4.7, which means it can connect to the internet via both Android and iPhone. This is in contrast to NTG4.5, which could only connect via Android. In addition, the TomTom Live Data Subscription may be renewed using your car's GSM connection (KOM Module). However, keep in mind that this may not be possible now that Vodafone's 3g network is down. It is possible to go straight from the most antique maps to the most recent ones. Additionally, it is recommended to upgrade the firmware to the most recent version; however, this can only be accomplished using authentic MB STAR.
-
The part number makes me think it could be for an SLK, but I'm not sure. Does it matter whether model year a model is from if the same software is used?
-
Is it this?

Salutations everyone, My just purchased X218 CLS350 SB (first registered 18.9.2013, release date 11.6.13) would benefit from having its maps updated. It may be NTG 4.5 if I'm wrong, or NTG 4.7, which came out in June 2013. Is there a significant difference between the two versions in terms of map updates? The vehicle identification document specifies that it has a code 527 COMAND DVD APS navigation system and a code 810 premium sound system. Here is the current version as seen below. Do subsequent versions provide complete updates, or is it necessary to top each version with an update? Is there anything I need to be careful about since there are upgrades for memory cards and stuff? Thank you in advance for any advice you may have.

If it is in the budget, I will get the new tires. I would pick four of the same since clunks and difficulties might be caused by mismatched tires.
-
As far as I'm concerned, the tires can be shredded since they aren't my current preferred option (I would love a whole set of similar ones). My goal in scheduling gearbox repair for this coming Friday is to finally have the 'thump' out of lower ratios eliminated, a problem that has plagued me with every high-miler I've ever owned.
-
"Fun pedal" is a new one on me, but apparently they work and are entertaining, so I'll keep that one in mind. Also, if you hit the "fun pedal" too often, they'll devour your tires. But hey, life is too short.
-
I want to thank everyone. I was able to get it for free as a buddy of mine had it sitting on his drive for three years and was about to send it for scrap. This antique diesel-powered vehicle has 148k miles on the odometer and is now a weekly commuting route between Nottinghamshire and West London. It starts up with the first turn of the key. I haven't spent enough money on her to make the experience as "finessed" as I would want it to be just yet, but she drives well and when I press the fun pedal, I get the results I desire. Plus, it's completely free of the features that have irritated me in the last several vehicles—for example, lane keep assist, speed sign alert, weariness monitor, etc.—so I can relax and enjoy the ride. Progress: Replaced battery Equip yourself with discs, pads, callipers, and flexi lines. A few tires Concrete manifold Inclusive service Carrier for new driver door handles The other set of items: A code for a remote fob Rear ARB bushes (MOT notice) Change the gearbox fluid. Vac cylinders and lines, as well as new engine mounts Updated audio system with Apple CarPlay compatibility (the original device only had one functional corner) With any luck, the vacuum cylinder will fix the engine's last wobble, and then everything will be fine. Since Turbo is the first, it may be considered later this year.

This year marks the 24th anniversary of my beloved old X5, and it is still going strong.

Hello there!
-
The X5 was mys at no cost. I rescued it from the scrapyard, restored a few parts, and am now using it every day.

I find it incredible that, similar to the R230 SL, the front seat airscarf fans are placed on the headrests and can be seen. rear wind deflector is aesthetically pleasing and may be used even while the rear passengers are still seated. Why isn't there an air cap system as in an E-class cab? -

Although I find the S500 coupe to be the most attractive big coupe since the C126, I am not a fan of the cabriolet. -

The ideal vehicle Affalterbach and others. With the S 63 4MATIC Cabriolet, Mercedes-Benz introduces a very desirable fantasy vehicle. Mercedes has never done this before in its 48-year existence.Mercedes-Benz, known for its high-performance sports cars and luxury sedans, has expanded its product lineup to include a four-seater Cabriolet in the S-Class sector, appealing to vehicle fans who value both performance and luxury. With the new model, you may travel in comfort with up to three people. The impressive specs include a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that produces 430 kW (585 hp) and 900 Nm of peak torque, standard all-wheel drive with AMG Performance 4MATIC and a rear-biased torque split, a 3.9-second zero-to-100 km/h acceleration time, and a high-performance composite brake system for optimal deceleration. The new S 63 4MATIC Cabriolet is clearly a product of car lovers for car enthusiasts, thanks to its high-performance technology and expressive external and interior design. According to Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, "The new S 63 Cabriolet is another fascinating AMG dream car from Affalterbach." The new model shows that Mercedes-AMG is determined to keep pushing the envelope in 2015. In every market category, we are resolutely pursuing our model initiative. AMG Performance with Less Weight The vehicle's exceptional and dynamic personality is built around its very stiff bodyshell construction, which incorporates unique solutions like the magnesium bulkhead in the baggage area. Lightweight lithium-ion batteries, AMG light-alloy wheels made using a complex forging technique, and a weight-optimized AMG high-performance composite braking system have all contributed to keeping the convertible's naturally elevated curb weight to a minimum. Aluminium also makes up a significant portion of the vehicle's exterior, front section, and even its tail end. Superior and efficient: the AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine Among V8 engines manufactured in series, the AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine continues to rank among the most efficient in terms of peak power, torque, and fuel economy. The AMG eight-cylinder engine is top-of-the-line with 430 kW (585 hp) and 900 Newton meters of torque. The S 63 Cabriolet's performance is second to none: it can reach a high speed of 250 km/h (electrically restricted) and can go from zero to hundred km/h in 3.9 seconds. The two-door variant is the most fuel-efficient in its competitive sector, with a NEDC fuel consumption of 10.4 litres per 100 km. The fact that this is possible demonstrates that achieving goals of efficiency, performance, and environmental friendliness are not incompatible. Automatic exhaust flaps for the exhaust system The engine sound of the S 63 Cabriolet may be adjusted to fit the driver's preferences, whether it's an expressive and sporty sound or a more subdued option that's good for lengthy trips. The exhaust system has two rear silencers equipped with automated exhaust flaps that are regulated by logic. For the most part, the transmission's "C" (Controlled Efficiency) mode keeps the flaps closed, which muffles the noise of the eight-cylinder biturbo engine. For drivers who want a more active style of driving, the exhaust flaps open sooner and more spontaneously in "S" (Sport) and "M" (Manual) modes. As a consequence, the unique and emotionally charged sound of an AMG engine is produced."One man, one engine:" a legacy of meticulous craftsmanship At AMG's manufacturing facility in Affalterbach, the biturbo eight-cylinder engine for the S 63 Cabriolet is installed by hand in the hand-finishing area. Following the "one man, one engine" principle, highly skilled engine fitters build the engines to the highest quality requirements. The engine technician's signature on the AMG engine plate not only confirms the exceptional accuracy and manufacturing quality, but it also relates to the legendary heritage of Mercedes-Benz's high-performance sports car brand. Unique selling point: AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed manual gearbox The 7-speed sports gearbox, AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT, and the V8 biturbo engine work hand in hand. The specific usage of this gearbox at AMG contributes to its outstanding agility and thrilling characteristics. Each driver has the option to create a unique configuration that best suits their driving style. You may choose "C" for "Controlled Efficiency," "S" for "Sport," or "M" for "Manual" from the available modes. Transmission mode "C" activates the normal ECO start/stop function. All-wheel drive from performance manufacturer AMG 4MATIC You may choose the S 63 Cabriolet with either rear-wheel drive (available exclusively in the RHD version) or the performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive (available in the LHD version). The only version available with both the S-Class Cabriolet and 4MATIC is the AMG version. With this setup, the front axle receives 33% of the engine's torque while the rear axle receives 67%. Acceleration is enhanced in any driving circumstance, including when starting from a standing start, thanks to this rear-biased power distribution, which also delivers the characteristic AMG high driving dynamics and exceptional driving pleasure. Improved traction and stability in rainy or snowy weather are additional benefits of all-wheel drive. AIRMATIC's lifting system The suspension is another area where the AMG experts have spared no expense: An air suspension with full-support and an adjustable damping system (ADS PLUS) with two modes—"Sport" and "Comfort"—is standard on the S 63 Cabriolet. With the simple press of a button, you may choose between two programs that provide different levels of agility and dynamics, as well as endless comfort for long trips and quiet riding at low speeds. The Cabriolet's front axle has unique kinematics, such as a steeper camber, a bigger anti-roll bar, and a rear axle subframe carrier that is stiffer. Unpleasant rolling and pitching is prevented via AMG-specific elastokinematics and parameterisation of the continuously variable damper control, decreased air volume of the air suspension system, and progressive piston geometry. If you're driving on uneven ground, you may additionally lift the car 30 millimetres. With a speed of 120 km/h in "Controlled Efficiency" mode and again in "Sport" mode, the chassis is automatically lowered. Methodical reduction in weight: standard AMG forged wheels Forged AMG light-alloy wheels are standard on the S 63 Cabriolet. The wheels are very lightweight and sturdy thanks to the forged construction. The benefits in handling and reactivity from the springs and dampers are a direct outcome of the reduced unsprung masses. The S 63 Cabriolet comes standard with titanium grey multi-spoke forged wheels finished with a high-sheen. The front wheels are 8.5 x 19 and the rear wheels measure 9.5 x 19, and the tires that come with them are 255/45 R 19 and 285/40 R 19, respectively. The AMG Performance Studio offers forged wheels as an optional extra in two sizes: 8.5 x 20 for the front wheels and 9.5 x 20 for the rear wheels. The wheels come with 255/40 R 20 tires and 285/35 R 20 tires, respectively. Performance ceramic composite braking system from AMG, available as an option Thanks to its weight-optimized, fade-resistant high-performance composite braking system, the S 63 Cabriolet always comes to a quick halt and decelerates with ease. One alternative is a ceramic high-performance composite braking system. The design's reduced unsprung masses, improved driving dynamics, agility, and ride comfort are all results of the design's more than 20% weight reduction. Style as a means of expressing athleticism and prowess To complement its athletic performance, the S 63 Cabriolet sports a stunning exterior design: The new ideal vehicle's design showcases the cutting-edge technology that powers it. Front and centre, you'll see the three-dimensional "twin-blade" radiator grille in silver chrome, one of many beautifully crafted aerodynamic components that contribute to the exceptional handling and handling characteristics. The "A-wing" is a three-dimensional aerodynamic component seen behind the radiator grille; it is body-colored and bears the stylised "A" emblematic of AMG automobiles. On each side of the cooling air intakes are big, black flics. Optimal airflow to the cooling modules is achieved below by means of the silver chrome front splitter. The car also seems to be getting closer to the road because of this. The side sill panels achieve a similar look with their silver chrome, high-quality, three-dimensional inlays. The S 63 Cabriolet's dynamic stance is a result of these inserts and the lower feature line. Also immediately noticeable is the high-gloss black diffuser insert located at the back. An attractive contrast is provided by the lower silver chrome trim piece, which is evocative of the front A-wing. The exhaust system's two chromed twin tailpipes, which have sports flaps, blend flawlessly with the diffuser insert. There is enticing opulence and athletic exclusivity throughout. As soon as you open the door, you'll be greeted with the entrancingly plush interior of the S 63 Cabriolet. The instrument panel wraps around the vehicle, almost disappearing into the doors. With a sporty, distinctive design idiom, high-quality materials and superb craftsmanship are integrated. The newly designed AMG sports seats provide the best possible lateral support for the driver and front passenger with electronic adjustment, Memory feature, and seat heating. Optimal command of the car is possible thanks to the three-spoke sports steering wheel's perforated leather grip area and uniquely shaped rim. Quicker gear changes and more responsive handling are the results of aluminium shift paddles. In the form of an instrument cluster with two dynamic circular dials, the high-resolution TFT colour display showcases another characteristic AMG design. The start-up screen, the AMG emblem on the speedometer with a 330 km/h scale, and the "V8 BITURBO" inscription on the rev counter are further distinguishing design elements, along with the red/silver needles and AMG-specific typography. The world made its debut in 2015, and by 2016, goods were available for purchase. At the Frankfurt International Motor Show, the S 63 Cabriolet will make its debut to the world. The product will be available for purchase in December, with the commercial launch starting in the spring of 2016.
