  2. The flaps closing against intake constitute the stop point, hence the answer is no, regrettably.
  3. Yeah, the only thing is that I personally just have BimmerCode, so I'll have to search around then. With the new intake's bar and flaps removed, I figured I could get away with it.
  4. It has to do with the motion, not the motor, therefore you'll have to make adjustments and reset it to learn the end stops regardless of which direction you travel. so, the absence of flaps will cause the bar to revolve infinitely, even with your motor attached. remove the flaps and bar, replace the manifold and then find a place to reset the modifications. ISTA isn't required; autel, launch, and others can accomplish the same.
  5. Hello everyone seeking guidance from an expert I just replaced the intake manifold in my 2c3200 and am now attempting to repair the swirl flap. I would like not to deal with the issue of recalibrating as I do not own ista. Reading this, I was considering the possibility that I may either 1. fasten my own actuator without resetting it by removing flaps while keeping the bar in place 2. Acquire the bung that I now possess by removing the bar and flaps. Would either of these choices not need an Ista reset? Also, what's your recommendation? Getting good gas mileage isn't essential to me, therefore I've removed the flaps from all of my BMWs without a problem. grateful for any feedback

  7. The smart autonomous dipping system was standard on my Mercedes C207. Without a doubt, the most impressive set of headlights I have ever used (I've heard the newest model is even better). Personally, I've had terrible experiences with the Bi Hex headlights on my Skoda Superb.
  8. Yeah, it's a great sunscreen. In essence, a ceramic covering
  9. Not a headlamp shield, but a trim restorer—I thought that was what you meant.
  10. Sun protection is essential. Reapply every several years using gtechnic C4.
  11. Looks like you might want to think about getting new lenses. It doesn't appear like you can get aftermarket ones and they're not too hard to swap out. A friend of mine does this every year because the headlights on his fiesta become fogged up. Considering that a dealer would charge £599.00 for a new set of xenon headlights, I'm not sure it would be worthwhile to have new ones.
  12. apply a sunscreen lotion? It is a component of several lens polish kits.
  13. My W211's headlights still fog up nearly annually, no matter how many times I get them trimmed and cleaned to a mirror finish. This is really bothersome; is there a protective covering that can stop it? During the winter, it's noticeably different out in the countryside. Tks
  14. Last week
  15. It sounded like the hose was about to overheat at the same time as the noise, but it seems like it just went up and over the strut and then vanished.
  16. For the high pressure needed by the SBC, isn't it the pressure reservoir or accumulator?
  17. Can anybody identify this item that sits directly in front of the SBC pump? It appears to be an electric motor based on the noise it makes, and it has a hose coming out of its base. It stands directly before the SBC pump. I assume it's an electric motor based on the noise it makes; it has a hose that comes out of the bottom.
  18. When you choose OEM. Genuine OEM paddle shifters were the ones I opted for. Metal can be seen in an old video on my channel, however it isn't my best work 😂.
  19. They claim to be made of ABS, according to the individual I saw.

  21. Dude, just swap out the buttons. You won't be using them very much, and they seem so cheap in comparison to the rest of the car.
  22. Would you like to change the buttons into paddles instead?Instead of using plastic buttons, try using metal ones.
  23. Salutations, tous, Does anyone have any recommendations for high-quality metal buttons that can replace the ones that came before the facelift? Unfortunately, most of the ones I've seen are made of plastic. Also, I am strictly seeking do-it-yourself options. At £800+, I'm not buying one of those gorgeous steering wheel adaptations! Instant win.
  24. We have used magnetic brakes on trains for years; surely they would have been an excellent choice.
