  2. I believe six months of inventory must now be registered. I doubt that anyone today would invest a significant amount in a vehicle that has been discontinued for three or four years, especially considering the increasingly stringent emission regulations. For instance, a Mondeo registered now would likely fail to meet the current emissions standards.
  3. As per Wikipedia, the final one was manufactured in June 1982. Although the majority were resolved by 1983, a minuscule number of overlooked or sluggish dealer inventory remained unregistered until 1984 or 1987. Historical DVLA records aggregated by enthusiast organisations meticulously document the precise number of these recent irregularities: [1] Registrations in 1984: 139 vehicles In 1985, there were 68 vehicle registrations. 1986 recorded entries: 62 automobiles 1987 recorded entries: 9 automobiles
  4. 1988? That is an exceedingly late registration if the figure is accurate, considering the Sierra supplanted it in 1983! Even a prior registration in 1985 would categorise it as a late B/Early C registration, by which point the Sierra had already been in existence for three years!
  5. I possessed new MK4 and MK5 Cortinas, and I truly yearn for them.
  6. The rear suspension design is essentially derived from the WRX, which accounts for its significant anti-squat characteristics and an unpredictable rear end.
  7. Do the FA24D and FA24 DIT have differing bellhousing bolt configurations?
  8. There must be a valid justification. Does anyone have knowledge of what it is?

  12. Identifying the oil vapours leading to the accumulation beneath the rocker cover is an excellent initial step. Have you attempted to thoroughly clean the area to identify the precise location where the new oil starts to leak? Identifying the origin could assist an individual in determining the reason for you.
  13. Greetings, My offspring is coming to visit. He operates a 2019 Countryman. He observed oil fumes emanating from the engine compartment in recent months. We inspected the engine compartment and I detached the cowling, observing oil accumulation in the channels directly beneath the rocker cover on the front (radiator) side of the engine. The oil loss is minimal. Do you have any hypotheses regarding the likely origin? I am aware that these engines contain numerous plastic components that may be susceptible to malfunction.
  14. The inquiry was directed toward the original poster.
  15. Indeed, consistently at intervals. Even when Mi-Drive is deactivated, the electric motor replenishes the 48-volt battery, in addition to regenerative braking. I am of the opinion that the 48-volt battery is replenished during coasting without fuel and, naturally, while braking. I seldom examine that power flow diagram. It is somewhat of a ploy.
  16. OP, are you indicating that there are no flow arrows to or from the mild hybrid battery in relation to the engine or drive wheels on the Energy Monitor display? At any moment.
  17. You might be conflating the turbo boost with the Mi-Drive 48-volt battery enhancement. There exist two markedly dissimilar techniques to enhance engine horsepower. The turbo operates independently while the Mi-Drive is engaged by the operator. It is imperative that you consult the vehicle's manual.
  18. Silly inquiry, but how does one engage M mode?
  19. That is not the operational mechanism of my 2026 MHEV.
  20. I am not required to set it to M mode. It appears to activate automatically when I increase speed.
  21. It is possible that the 48-volt battery has ceased to function. Neither a depleted battery nor a malfunctioning cell should occur. Do you consistently operate it in M mode?
