Craigbelont
While driving the S204 back from the workshop after rectifying a brake fluid leak, the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power while ascending a steep incline. There was little improvement over flat terrain, characterised by a lack of acceleration and insufficient power. I parked and connected my code reader to the vehicle, which displayed P0100, indicating a Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit issue. I erased the code and proceeded for another drive. After 30 kilometres, the issue has not reappeared, hopefully. Am I facing a potential MAF sensor replacement, an air leak from behind the airbox (M271 engine), or was this really an isolated incident? Has anybody else experienced this? ForumGuru
I had similar issues with the W204 that I previously owned. In my opinion, mercenaries may be capricious at times, and it is possible that you encountered a singular malfunction. You may have irritated it by placing it in the workshop, or are the batteries functioning properly? Low voltage might cause many problems that may not truly be there. p00rmansp0rsche
Did you not experience a comparable situation a few months ago?
Craigbelont
That was a hose that separated itself from the throttle body. Not tied to the recent problem
AMG33D
A few months before, my GLC entered limp mode on a chilly, icy morning after 500 yards, with no fault codes present. Parked and powered off, then restarted. It has been satisfactory since then. If it were a constant occurrence, I am certain we would all see it. I would attribute yours to a malfunction for the time being. Until you get that juncture.
clk320x4
Would disconnecting the MAF enable you to determine whether the fault code alters? Alternatively, consider use a spray MAF cleaner.
p00rmansp0rsche
It seemed that the symptoms were analogous and associated with the air inlet side.
