bvlenci
Do you have any suggestions for diesel additives that can be used in EGR or DPF to reduce the likelihood of blocking or gumming up? The most important thing is to avoid short, cold engine trips as much as possible. Another important thing is to do long, fast runs so that the DPF can regen. ByteStorm
While Miller's Ecomax Diesel additive isn't the cheapest, it has been an effective additive for my diesel engine for years. After a few hundred miles, you should also notice a slight improvement in your MPG.
VWDaveBMW
Maintaining uninterrupted regen cycles likely accomplishes more than any product on the market.
Darrellll
Just like mentioned earlier, a normal speed will suffice for a regeneration. You seem to be overthinking the matter. I've never experienced any problems with a dpf.

MrGreedy
Maintain the satisfaction of the regents; my mistake. I keep mine happy with a monthly 15-minute descent down the duel course and 15-minute return. The miller was used to retain the injectors and that side, not as a replacement for regen. Oops, I should have mentioned that.
