Alex1978
Greetings, My offspring is coming to visit. He operates a 2019 Countryman. He observed oil fumes emanating from the engine compartment in recent months. We inspected the engine compartment and I detached the cowling, observing oil accumulation in the channels directly beneath the rocker cover on the front (radiator) side of the engine. The oil loss is minimal. Do you have any hypotheses regarding the likely origin? I am aware that these engines contain numerous plastic components that may be susceptible to malfunction. ianwh4
Identifying the oil vapours leading to the accumulation beneath the rocker cover is an excellent initial step. Have you attempted to thoroughly clean the area to identify the precise location where the new oil starts to leak? Identifying the origin could assist an individual in determining the reason for you.
