Greetings, I am now experiencing a vacuum leak in my 260E M103 Engine.
I acquired a smoke detection apparatus.
The system operates at a pressure of 19 pounds per square inch (psi). There is no mechanism to decrease the pressure.
I am inquiring about the level of safety. Apprehensive about potential internal injury.

Although I have not personally used this particular procedure (since I employ an other testing approach), a pressure of 19psi does strike me as quite excessive. Perhaps, you could include a T-piece into the line and release a portion of the pressure? (My testing methodology does not rely on pressure, but it is still capable of detecting leaks. Significant pressure is not necessary in my opinion.
