TDudette
Greetings, The functionality of my comfort access system for all of my doors ceased to operate recently. The batteries on the key fob have been replaced and the fuse in the trunk has been inspected, indicating that both components are functioning properly. The issue at hand is only to the doors, and does not have any discernible impact on the functionality of the push start or trunk comfort open features, which continue to operate without any hindrance to my comfort. Based on my assessment, it seems unlikely that the whole comfort access module is the cause of the issue. Upon doing a diagnostic scan using the BimmerLink software, a total of four faults were detected and shown. Furthermore, I acquired a novel driver side door handle; nonetheless, the outcomes were unchanged. Has anybody encountered this phenomenon previously? Attempting to resolve the issue independently prior to visiting the authorised dealership.

VWDaveBMW
Have you examined the fuse located under the dashboard? The cause of the malfunction in my vehicle was a blown 15-ampere fuse located under the passenger side of the dashboard.
TDudette
I have examined the fuse and replaced all of them as a precautionary measure, nevertheless the issue persists. The functionality of the start/stop button is satisfactory, and the trunk comfort access feature works as intended. Only the doors that are no longer functioning. The observed phenomenon is quite unconventional. I saw a pre-owned comfort access module listed on the online marketplace eBay. However, I am uncertain whether the functionality of the start/stop feature and trunk opening capability necessarily indicates the absence of a defective CAS module. Howard_silver
I am interested in learning if you have successfully fixed the aforementioned problem. I am a proprietor of a 2012 X6 35i and have encountered the entire disappearance of the comfort access feature. To start the vehicle's ignition, it is necessary for me to now enter the fob in a manner similar to that of a non-comfort access BMW. Darrellll
Please verify the status of fuse #132 since it is likely to be blown. Passive Go, often known as keyless start/driving, is a distinct feature that should not be confused with Comfort Access. Do all of your door knobs function properly? Darrellll
In this scenario, it will be necessary to conduct a comprehensive examination of each door handle. One of them has negative qualities. The task at hand is quite straightforward. It typically takes around five minutes to complete the task of handling a single item. To troubleshoot the issue, it is recommended to disconnect one component at a time and see whether the CA handles resume functioning. Regarding the issue of keyless entry, it is recommended to repair the fuse. The aforementioned outcome is expected to occur shortly thereafter. Howard_silver
Therefore... Upon investigation, I discovered that the malfunctioning of the Passive Go 7.5 was caused by a blown fuse. After replacing the fuse, it promptly blew again. Initially, I attributed this occurrence to a random incident, and proceeded to repair the fuse once again. However, upon inspection, it became evident that the replacement fuse also had an instantaneous failure. What methods may be used to identify the problem? Trevorseaf
I encountered this problem subsequent to the replacement of my vehicle's battery by the dealer. The functionality of comfort access, alarm, and some more functions seemed to have been deactivated. I returned the car and the DME Control Module had to be re-programmed.This solution resolved the problem in my case. The vehicle in question is the 2012 X6 50i.
