  1. Mars Red is the American counterpart of Fire Opal Red in the United Kingdom. Given the significant financial losses incurred by MB due to the Fire Opal Red disaster between 2007 and 2012, one would expect that they had already resolved the issue by now.
  2. Carneol red metallic might be included on the list of problematic colours due to issues with lacquer failure instead of the real paint. Mercedes-Benz does not show any interest in addressing this matter. Within the last 4-5 years, the bonnet and roof of the vehicle were repainted. However, less than 2 years later, the paint shop had to redo the roof free of charge due to a problem with the protective coating. In March of this year, the bonnet and tailboard spoiler were repainted, and now the rear passenger door, side panels, wing mirror back casings and the black strips on either side of the windscreen are in need of repainting as well, as the protective coating has failed.
  3. I had a similar issue and attributed it to the jamming of the MOT evap valve.
  4. The tool is unnecessary. The crank should be securely fastened to the flywheel at the designated inspection holes.
  5. Given that it was a primary dealer, I would have expected it to be the most superior option. However, the dashboard does not indicate any flaws; it just indicates a misfire.
  6. It has achieved a total of 170,000, yet it operates calmly and smoothly. I have a speed of 20 miles per hour. There is no illumination on the dashboard. I have also visited two independent Mercedes garages, but they have likewise been unable to locate any information. I have had the injectors removed and examined, and there are no issues with them.
  7. The vehicle in question is a Mercedes chester. I informed them that there was a misfire. They informed me that the whole process had a cost above £600, indicating that they provided us with a satisfactory payment. I was unable to provide an explanation for the necessity for a new engine, despite my assertion. However, it is worth noting that the vehicle continues to operate with a low noise emission. What is the definition of the star?
  8. The 2019 Mercedes E Class 220d exhibits a misfire while operating at low rpm, yet it performs well on the motorway. The injectors have been removed, inspected, and subsequently replaced. There is no issue with them. There are no lights illuminated - I have been in a Mercedes. The current situation remains unknown to everybody.
  9. Windows 11 has successfully updated my SD Card without any complications. The card reader I used was an inexpensive USB device that I had readily available. I am now using the same version of Windows as you, however, the most recent upgrade to the card occurred 2 months ago.
  10. I operated both vehicles. Cross The inside of the SUV seems to be more spacious compared to the CHR, mostly because to its greater height and increased driving position. I like the same inside layout of the Yaris. Enhanced iteration of Hybrid that exhibits superior efficiency Extremely resistant to catalytic theft. The engine has both positive and negative aspects. It is quite tiny for the automobile, but it excels in fuel efficiency while driving in urban areas. What I disliked was the higher noise level inside compared to CHR, and the lesser boot space when comparing the two. CHR From my opinion, the Cross is superior in terms of interior design, both in terms of physical appearance and quality. Enhanced and larger engine, increased luggage capacity, larger vehicle, resembling a Hatchback rather than an SUV. Driving inside is much quieter. The age of the Hybrid system is contingent upon the specific version and year. Susceptible to Catalytic theft If I had to choose a choice, I would go for CHR.
  11. A single word that comes to mind is "bourbon".
  12. Does the vehicle experience vibrations when it is at idle?
  13. Just seen the images - love it - old school rules! Adoring
  14. The quality of the engine oil will impact the engine's long-term service life, and any immediate consequences are difficult to measure without disassembling the engine. Combining oils in this manner may not have any negative effects, but it is impossible to predict the outcome beforehand or afterward.
  15. Adding half a litre of Ford-specific oil to your engine would not cause it to explode, but I would advise against doing so. Use engine oil that complies with MB229.51 or MB229.52 for your engine. The information will be shown on the container. I would use nothing else. 5W-30 is OK.
  16. Mazda has instructed dealers not to operate new inventory CX-90's or loaner CX-90's until the steering recall is completed. Not all cars on the dealer lot or in loaner service have received the components for the recall. Only one of our CX-90 loaner vehicles has been serviced so far. That is likely the reason you received a CX-5 as a loaner instead of a CX-90.
  17. The only contribution I can make to this topic...Typically, in most jurisdictions, lemon law claims are directed at the manufacturer rather than the dealer. The dealer plays a minimal role in the process, focusing only on repairing the car without any financial impact. Each state has its own unique method that manufacturers must adhere to. I have participated in several lemon law cases that were not swiftly resolved, but each was ultimately settled in favour of the consumer.
  18. It is typical for your radiator fans to sometimes operate at a greater volume than usual. They will activate whenever the AC compressor turns on, producing buzzing sounds that intensify as the AC cycles on and off intermittently. The feature is only evident while the vehicle is still, not when moving. A consistently loud buzzing compressor operating at high rpm may indicate low gas levels in the system. Loud and rumbling radiator fans in a 2022 automobile indicate a potential issue, which should not be present in a new vehicle. whether you are uncertain about recording a video, please share the sounds from both inside and outside the vehicle with us. We will assess the noises and inform you whether everything is normal or if there is any strange activity.
  19. I would assume that it is possible to transfer it to a different tank. However, considering the TSB, I anticipate that the new tanks would be resistant to splitting.
  20. There was a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) issued for the coolant tanks of the first generation. Over time, the tank might gradually develop cracks, necessitating the installation of a strap as a solution. It would be advisable to verify whether that has already been accomplished.
  21. I own a set of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) filters that are available for purchase. These filters are in pristine condition and have never been used. Please inform me if you have any interest in this matter.
