Thank you! I'm hoping so as well, but I'll find out when I write about other car problems π

Greetings everyone! So far, I'm really enjoying my new Mini Coupe that I just purchased. The most noticeable difference from my CitroΓ«n C6 has been the ride quality; it's as if I've gone from a magic carpet to a homemade go-kart! The more I've driven it, though, the more I think it's a sturdy little car. Eventually, I shall write about a few things that are on my mind. My name is Mini and I'm excited to join this community!

Discomfort with the Highland column while using Easy Entry
alpaco45 replied to Rashman4u's topic in General Discussions
I experienced some initial stiffness during turns, but it seemed to "break in" and then disappear after a while; nevertheless, I have not heard any steering noises whatsoever. There were no visible physical flaws when the Service Center examined it. -
What a waste of money for the cheap-skater!

Signatures are invisible to me.

Why eliminate a physical dipstick? It is an absurd notion; nonetheless, it seems that Mercedes-Benz owners prefer to avoid getting their hands filthy. π

That is pleasant; however, it appears that this is not applicable to the 2025 App remote. The fob remote is no longer functional.

Indeed, I was anticipating a sarcastic response. Laughing out loud. My vehicle is located in the driveway; it is inaudible when starting from within the house and appears to function intermittently.
-
Is there a method to ascertain if the vehicle is operational after employing remote start? Certain vehicles have their running lights engaged when the remote start is initiated.

My R55 Clubman has exhibited a dashboard light problem in recent months, which I have traced to the left rear light cluster. The indicator primarily malfunctions, albeit it operates intermittently at times. Although it now sometimes also affects the brake light. I am unable to predict the efficacy of my indication. Indicates a defect in the light cluster rather than in the individual bulbs. Has anyone encountered a comparable experience?

It is a pleasure to get your communication.

Apply ceramic spray or Rain-X to facilitate water dispersion. I hardly utilise the back window wiper on my first-generation C-HR, and I understand that the second generation features an advanced rearview camera, rendering a wiper unnecessary.

Differences in Rear Callipers for W163/ML320? Vrbo Calliper

Why do you not drill out the broken nipple? Significantly more economical than substituting the calliper. -

What is your complete chassis number? -
Ensure the head unit's WiFi is configured in "Client" mode rather than "Hotspot" mode. Subsequently, activate Bluetooth, mobile data, and "Wireless Android Auto" on your phone. If that is unsuccessful, remove the phone from the head unit and from your vehicle's list in Android Auto, then re-establish the connection from the beginning. The connection is unreliable and occasionally requires a complete reset.

Combining tire brands on several axles
alpaco45 replied to Blu_Ray_UK2007's topic in General Discussions
I consistently own the precise brand and model of tires at all times, but that is only obsessive-compulsive disorder. Two Continental tires in the front and two Michelin or Pirelli tires at the back will suffice. When changing the front tires, endeavour to get the same brand and model as the rear tires, but install the new tires on the back axle. -
As already said. The infrequent extended run on weekends should suffice. If there were an issue, you would have already seen a notification on the dashboard.

N52 325i Low Oil Indicator (maximum oil level)
alpaco45 replied to IrvesBMW's topic in General Discussions
The oil level sensor will not generate a code until it experiences a full short circuit. If it fails to accurately interpret its data and generate the appropriate signal (basically producing a different signal based on the oil level), it will provide anomalous results. Do not disregard that it is susceptible to oil and is electrical; it will ultimately deteriorate, and oil may infiltrate its inside. I had a similar issue with a cam sensor that exhibited no error codes; yet, the signal quality was poor when analyzed with an oscilloscope. Upon removal, I discovered a hairline fracture on the component. You lack a dipstick, making this your only method for verifying the oil level, unless you do the change yourself and are certain that all prior oil has completely drained. Simply replace the sensor.
