Hello everyone, I am continuing discussions with the garage, and they are covering the costs for the repairs to be conducted locally. Could someone inform me of the necessary modules for the RHS headlight unit? I will get a unit tomorrow; I only need to obtain the components.
-
The passenger side headlight has ceased to operate, with the exception of the sidelights. Will the modules for this unit also be located inside the driver-side component?

Hello everyone, I am still in dispute with the garage over this matter. However, the whole unit has failed. Is there a possibility of salvaging it by drying it inside, or is it beyond recovery?
-
Indeed, it is the correct one. I assure you, I am. I will return it based on the video they provided of the automobile walkthrough, in which they said they would send me a replacement device.

The vehicle has just had a MOT. I purchased it around a month ago, with an agreement from the garage to address the headlight issue. However, I am now concerned that prolonged use may lead to increasing electrical malfunctions. I may surmise that the garage is reluctant to incur expenses, but I have sent this to them.

Greetings, I just acquired a 2015 CLS 350 AMG Line from a dealership in London, which is a 3.5-hour journey from my residence. I was informed that the outside headlight unit included moisture inside the lens at the time of purchase. Upon inspection during collection, it seemed that the device had been tampered with, and I requested a replacement unit to be supplied to me. To which they consented. The item has not yet been sent, and the existing unit was functioning well, although with an occasional error indicating a malfunction in the intelligent lighting system; nonetheless, all lights operated correctly, so the situation is acceptable for the time being. Last night, the offside indication and dipped beam ceased functioning, and the screen indicates a failure of the nearside turn signal, but it remains operational. Could these issues be attributed to the control module absorbing moisture from the unsealed unit? What is the optimal course of action about this matter?

Essentially. It is what it is. -
I just purchased a Mercedes C-Class. I have been driving and observed that my automobile is really rigid and jarring over the city's potholes. Conversely, the roadway is far smoother and more pleasant. I observed that the vehicle tends to slide to the left at the rear end at high speeds (70 mph) over minor bumps. What actions can I do to enhance my riding experience? I own 19-inch alloy wheels. It has been suggested that lowering tire pressure and selecting certain tyres might enhance comfort. What do you believe is causing the automobile to veer significantly to one side while in motion?

I believe we require a distinct 'Subframe.'

Imminent issue or only a malfunction?

That was a hose that separated itself from the throttle body. Not tied to the recent problem -
While driving the S204 back from the workshop after rectifying a brake fluid leak, the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power while ascending a steep incline. There was little improvement over flat terrain, characterised by a lack of acceleration and insufficient power. I parked and connected my code reader to the vehicle, which displayed P0100, indicating a Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit issue. I erased the code and proceeded for another drive. After 30 kilometres, the issue has not reappeared, hopefully. Am I facing a potential MAF sensor replacement, an air leak from behind the airbox (M271 engine), or was this really an isolated incident? Has anybody else experienced this?

I failed to detect a fractured front spring on my W204 during a pre-MOT examination due to its breakage occurring close to the end. Both Mercedes-Benz vehicles I have had experienced a fracture of one front spring, and in each instance, I replaced just the fractured spring. In both instances, the right colour-coded replacement spring did not result in an uneven ride height, and in neither case did the other spring fail after many further years of service.

I performed the DCT gearbox oil service on my Cooper S Auto today. The service needed light has been extinguished, and the gearbox seems to shift more smoothly now. He also noted that the battery is deteriorating, which is important to acknowledge. He has extensive understanding on this subject, and I would unequivocally endorse him. He is situated in a picturesque region conducive to walking while you wait; I successfully located a satisfying full English breakfast at a nearby café.

The adaptive main beam has ceased functioning.

That is the context to which I was alluding. Have you attempted to toggle it off and then on again, maybe in conjunction with switching it off and on at the stalk? Thus: disable it in the settings, manually activate the lights, control the main beam with the stalk, revert the lights to Automatic, and then re-enable the function in the settings? I do not assert that this will be effective; I only provide it as a recommendation. Occasionally, rebooting devices may resolve issues (e.g. folding mirrors may need a manual cycle after battery disconnection). -

A distinct configuration exists in my dashboard, located under 'Settings' -> 'Light', to enable this function so that it activates when the stalk is in the forward position. When the functionality is off, the stalk functions as a manual main beam. Have you attempted to deactivate the function in the settings and then reactivate it? -

I acquired my automobile in August, and due to the diminishing daylight, Saturday was my first experience driving it at night, hence I am only now acclimating to this aspect. Have you perhaps unplugged the battery since it was functioning at the beginning of the year? Have you attempted to disable and then re-enable the option in the settings? Is the region of the windscreen next to the sensor free of obstructions? Have you lately had a new windscreen installed? -
I assume that the suspension of a C-HR for the UK market will be calibrated differently from that of a C-HR for the New Zealand market.

This is the screen displaying the available options for selection. Adjust the AC charging current to 60% in order to decrease the charging current, resulting in a little reduction in temperature (at the expense of longer charging time). -

To address this issue, I suggest accessing the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) settings menu on your vehicle and adjusting the maximum charge rate from 7 kilowatt-hours (KWh) to around 3 KWh. The menu setting can be found under the PHEV option. Once configured, it will prevent the vehicle from requesting more power over the specified limit.
