Ultimately, RainX is strongly discouraged.

What is the issue with just relying on your windscreen wipers? After all, their primary purpose is to clear the windscreen of precipitation. -
Thank you everybody for your assistance. We will now proceed to test various concepts.

PixelMaster I appreciate your response.

Due to the size of our Labrador and Newfoundland, they are sufficiently enough to deter any potential theft attempts. We considered concealing the sensor on the windscreen, but there is a risk of it being displaced. Therefore, we may need to use gaffer tape as a solution. Typically, we slightly open the windows by around 3 inches to allow the dogs to get a little amount of fresh air.

There is no sunroof in our possession.

Regrettably, we do not own a sunroof.

When we go shopping, we often leave our two enormous dogs in our 2018 E class Estate vehicle with the windows up. However, if it begins to rain, the windows automatically shut, which leaves the dogs without any air. This is against the law. What is the best method to prevent the windows from closing, even if it means allowing rain to enter, because we will only be gone for a short period of time?

It's near because it's Daytona.

2020 Mercedes E Class Service A includes an oil check.
BEERMAN replied to alpaco45's topic in General Discussions
Years ago, a friend's father, who owned a car dealership, shared a story about a customer who wanted a job done quickly. The father offered to complete the work in half the originally quoted time, but at the manufacturer's book time rate. The customer agreed, and the job was completed promptly, with the customer paying the full amount.... -
2020 Mercedes E Class Service A includes an oil check.

1. The oil level should be below the maximum mark when cold since oil expands when heated, and the minimum and maximum markings indicate levels for hot engine oil, not cold. Dealers often replenish the engine oil up to the minimum level while cold to avoid engine damage from overfilling, particularly in Diesel engines. 2. In this situation, it seems that the dealer was too cautious in avoiding overfilling, since BD said that most dealers often fill it up to halfway between the minimum and maximum levels while the engine is cold. Return the vehicle to the dealer and demand they add additional oil, or you may do it yourself. Dealers consistently bill for the whole quantity of oil specified for the engine, irrespective of the actual amount of oil used. I confronted them about it once, but they were quite dismissive. It's frustrating since they clearly profit from billing for engine oil they never provided. -
Sanitising interior buttons with delicate surfaces

I also support the use of baby wipes. To enhance performance, refrain from engaging with those who are easily affected or sensitive. After cleaning the problematic region, there may be a residual residue left behind. Therefore, it is advisable to have a microfiber cloth and a cleanser suitable for the surface at hand in order to complete the cleaning process. For instance, use non-sensitive baby wipes to clean the leather steering wheel, centre console, and door handles/cards. Observe with shock the dirt that is removed, and conclude by using a microfiber cloth with Dr Leather or another interior 'leather' cleaning solution. Conclude the process of cleaning interior plastics by using a plastic cleaner of your choice. In my opinion, a very diluted all-purpose cleaner is suitable for this task. -
I visited my nearby automotive repair shop and requested them to do a diagnostic check on my vehicle. Yesterday, a glow plug relay failure was detected and subsequently resolved. The automobile emitted a significant amount of substances from the exhaust and has been operating more smoothly without any malfunctions or reduced power. The cause of this improvement is uncertain. I believe it is necessary for me to cover a few further kilometres before concluding that the issue has been resolved.

Hello, I appreciate that this question may have been asked before, but I am now facing difficulty comprehending the issue and the associated code. The vehicle operates well, but sometimes enters a phase where its power output is reduced by half. Interestingly, no warning lights are shown during this occurrence. However, after around 5 minutes of driving at or below 3000rpm, the car regains its full power and resumes normal operation. During the last occurrence, I was prepared with my code reader, and the following codes were shown while the vehicle was experiencing difficulties: 41A4, P0402, 4507, P14A6. These codes are related to DPF pressure and EGR. The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is functioning well, and the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) has accumulated about 10,000 miles of use (the turbocharger was also replaced at that time). The engine has accumulated 76,000 km and receives regular maintenance, including flushing and other necessary services. After exiting half power mode, I deleted the codes and rechecked the system, but no codes were detected. It is worth noting that the code reader I used is CarScanner, which, while not the most advanced, has proven effective in resolving most issues on this and other vehicles. Do you have any suggestions or thoughts? Thank you.

The 2004 320TD compact requires both inner and exterior tie rods.

Lemforder is an authentic brand that ensures long-lasting durability, eliminating the need for future replacements. Avoid using Febi, as recommended before. I attempted to use the product febi, which resulted in the expenditure of both time and resources, including the need to replace tyres, realign the components, and repeat the whole process. Febi provided improper nuts for the track-rod ends. They supplied nylock nuts instead of the needed flanged nuts, which are necessary for mounting to the aluminium hub. These nuts broke within three months of Miss Daisy driving. Febi provided me with fair compensation. -
If it has LL04 on it, then it is OK.

Driving advice when travelling in Germany AMG

Nothing can adequately prepare one for it! Despite having read several testimonials, I was nevertheless astounded. It is remarkable to consider that it was formerly a privately owned assortment. The most captivating tale for me was when the brothers sent a letter to the Bugatti Owners Club, expressing their intention to purchase the whole fleet of cars. This demonstrates significant purchasing power. -

I intend to go to France. It is quite delightful to experience well-maintained roads for a change. In addition, I consistently find the French routes to be quite efficient for covering long distances. If you have sufficient time available, Baden-Baden is highly recommended for its pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the Schlumpf Museum, located farther south in Mulhouse, is a worthwhile destination that requires some effort to get. The Zeppelin Museum, located in Friedrichshafen, is a commendable attraction, but a considerable distance away. -
I am uncertain whether your system is identical to mine, however my car's system has no difficulty in accurately interpreting speed signs. However, there are some instances when it mistakenly detects the speed restriction plates on heavy goods vehicles. Typically, it is promptly sorted. If you have own the automobile for just 6 weeks, maybe you might consider having them inspect the issue? Is it possible that the windscreen was replaced and something was not correctly reinstalled?

The individual's statement is accurate. In response to the truck drivers' strikes, Patrick Pouyanne implemented a price reduction of 12 cents per litre last year, which may be seen as a public relations strategy. I was uncertain about its current existence, but it is advisable to be vigilant for its potential presence. The reason for mentioning stores is their distinct signage, such as the obvious indication of "Leclerc 5 kilometres straight ahead."

Wishing you a pleasant journey! It is worth noting that supermarkets consistently provide lower prices compared to branded fuel stations, and they are often located on the outskirts of most towns. Motorway service stations in the UK are seen to be too expensive. This outcome is not unexpected.

Indeed, it is the information I encountered on my F32 for a considerable period of time. Subsequently, I exchanged the aforementioned item, which had been used for around one year, for a pristine M4 steering wheel. The impetus for this decision stemmed from my desire to own a steering wheel equipped with heating capabilities, among other features. Furthermore, my preference for the original M wheels stems from my longstanding appreciation for the smooth wallnappa leather they have. The M Performance variant has enhanced traction and imparts a remarkable sense of command. In contrast, my F06 model has its original factory sport steering wheel, and I want to postpone any upgrades until it exhibits more signs of wear.

This particular steering wheel is often regarded as one of the most aesthetically pleasing options available, and its overall quality is very commendable.
