Quick update in case anyone else comes across this Car turned up this morning Driver rang about an hour before arriving just to check parking and access, everything went smoothly Had a proper look round it and took it out for a drive, no issues at all Glad I went through with it in the end Thanks again for all the input š

Yeah I did not gonna lie I hesitated before doing it but I checked their company details, found a couple of mentions online, nothing that raised red flags The segregated account thing made it feel a bit safer. Itās not like youāre just sending money straight to them with no control Still a bit of a leap of faith though!!!

Evening all I actually dealt with Cardwell Transport about a month ago, ended up getting a Peugeot 3008 from them, was in the exact same position as you at the start, wasnāt 100% sure what to make of it. Spoke to them a few times on the phone just to get a feel for it They explained the payment setup quite clearly though, money goes into a segregated business account and doesnāt get released until youāve got the car and confirmed youāre happy with it My bank did stop the transfer initially which didnāt help the nerves, had to ring them and confirm it was me Car arrived about 7 days later, cleaner than I expected to be fair

Afternoon all Bit of an odd one. Been hunting around for something sensible for my ladās first car and stumbled onto a listing for a BMW 318d price looked very strong⦠almost suspiciously so Did a bit more digging and itās not a private seller at all, itās through a firm called Cardwell Transport up in Belfast. Seems they deal with cars that have been taken back and resold from auctions, theyāre offering to bring it over to me (Iām Bristol way), which is handy, but Iām struggling with the idea of paying anything before Iāve laid eyes on it Has anyone on here actually dealt with them or similar outfits? Not keen on learning an expensive lesson

Please tell me if you've been through this or know how to fix it. Car has been on standby for one year
-
No matter how hard I turn the key, the diesel pressure stays the same. I don't know if this is a malfunction or if I'm just messing up.
-
Worse still, the second HPFP is also defective.

In 2003, I owned a BMW e46 320D with six speeds.... On the way to work one day, it suddenly stopped moving. After then, it continues to crank but won't start. Even though diesel is getting to the high pressure diesel pump, the pressure isn't high enough to do much more than flow. The high pressure diesel pump, in-tank diesel pump, and the one beneath the car have all been replaced by myself. My automobile still hasn't gotten over this problem after a whole year. Give me some pointers on how to fix my automobile so it starts up again.

I was going to, but then I measured the area to be worked in and the various connections to the + and - terminals, and I let my neighbourhood handyman figure it out. I fail to see why it would be necessary to link the new battery to the vehicle, even if it was mentioned. It took around thirty minutes to get it on. That cubicle is incredibly cramped.

Is the 12V AGM battery something you changed out on your own?
-
My 2019 E63s' primary AGM battery was just changed. After last August, the stop-start rarely works anymore. Just 500 yards after starting today, it kicked in. Fluids are clearly not heated to the point where they can be seen below. When the green square with the A sign appears, it means that stop start is functioning properly. Got the traffic lights working again, but then it stopped working again. Starting next month, I will get the capacitor replaced.

A week after I swapped out the primary battery for my glc 350, the capacitor pack gave out. The previous owner sold it after using it as a school run taxi for their children, but getting only 18 mpg in over 7,000 km.
