Hello there, people. I require assistance or guidance on a 2012 BMW F30 equipped with a 2.0L N47 engine. When reversing, it produces several thudding noises from either side. It appears to originate from an impact beneath the vehicle. While in the vehicle, I replaced the passenger side tension strut/control arm (the one with the large hydraulic bushing) due to a defective ball joint, hoping it would resolve the issue; but, it did not. It appears to occur exclusively while making a turn in either direction while proceeding straight. I have not observed it. The sound is unpleasant, resembling the impact of striking something beneath. Any suggestions or input would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I would purchase any pink coolant provided it bears the manufacturer's reference. MB325.6 is correct. The capacity of my 2012 S204 C220 is 6.5 litres (blue variant). I would consult the manual or search for it online. I find it somewhat peculiar that the S205 has a capacity of 8.5 to 10 litres. I purchase a concentrated solution and dilute it with 40% to 60% water, as advised, using a ratio of 2 to 3 parts water. That is satisfactory for weather conditions in the UK.

Hello, I possess a 2018 C-Class estate S205 220d. I am seeking to get my automobile serviced at an independent facility while providing my own parts. Could you please specify the required specifications for MB coolant and the necessary capacity in litres? I am seeking to dispense the red/pink coolant. One is designated at MB 325.6 - Is this accurate? What other third-party coolant is recommended as OEM? Thank you in advance.

That is pleasant; however, it appears that this is not applicable to the 2025 App remote. The fob remote is no longer functional.
-
I own a manufacturer fob remote that indicates the car is operational through a flashing LED, along with the remaining runtime.

Indeed, I was anticipating a sarcastic response. Laughing out loud. My vehicle is located in the driveway; it is inaudible when starting from within the house and appears to function intermittently.
- Today
-
I receive a message from the application.

🤣😂😅
-
It is merely my sense of humour; often, the engine's operation is audible.
-
Is there a method to ascertain if the vehicle is operational after employing remote start? Certain vehicles have their running lights engaged when the remote start is initiated.
- Yesterday

That concludes the responses thus far; I suspect the new battery may be defective. I charged it overnight, and as soon as I disconnect the charger, the voltage declines significantly. Proceeding with additional investigation.
-
Could it be that the drive battery temperature control was activated? Did you access the automobile through the app at that moment, thereby activating it?
-
Thank you. Mine plummeted unexpectedly on the track yesterday.

I will verify that the boot light does not remain illuminated when the boot is closed. Upon examining the trace on my BM 6 over a 24-hour period (vehicle stationary throughout), there is minimal voltage decline. Until 10:00, the Battery Management System activates to charge the 12V battery. Provided the drive battery remains over 20%, the Battery Management System (BMS) should maintain the 12V charge, as of 10:00.

Thank you for your reply. I ventured out this afternoon, and upon returning after an hour, the device was functioning well, displaying no warnings and a battery reading of 12.4 volts. I hope Kia can resolve the issues related to their 12v systems and possible ICCU failures. I have possessed the car since last April, and it is an exceptional vehicle; nonetheless, I lack confidence in it. It may be prudent to examine alternative options.
