Strong mental picture of a man who, eight months later, died on the Hogs Back while driving his Mk1 Jaguar "at speed" (supposedly 80mph) after passing his team manager's Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. Mike won that Formula One race just a few months prior to his retirement. Every time I look at the painting of Mike Hawthorne's face—which happens once a month—it terrifies me. What a youthful spirit. -

Since seeing it in a vintage Classic & Sportscar magazine many years ago, I've thought this shot was cool. Mike Hawthorne and Tommy Sopwith are seen in the photo, who was taken at Silverstone in 1958. The two Jaguar 3.4 litre saloons are wildly pitching as they speed around a bend. The tradition originated in the days when Formula One racers would take their cars to a saloon car event, drive them home, and then compete in the next weekend's race. -

At 4.21, the illustrious Giuseppe Busso, whose V6 engine powers my Alfa, appears! That is an amazing film; I appreciate you sharing it. -

Even at typical highway speeds, the roads they raced on are "challenging" for a contemporary vehicle. Separate eras. Also, I appreciate you sharing the YouTube URL. -

On public roads across Italy, Stirling Moss drove nearly 1000 miles at an average speed of 100mph for two years, starting at 7:22am in the SLR and taking ten hours, seven minutes, and forty-eight seconds to complete the journey. That is why the number 722 appeared on all of his subsequent SLRs. -

Those interested in classic racing might find this interesting..... Colourized restored footage. Proper racers get 180mpg on public roads with skinny tires! It makes all racing look very safe now.

Above, it is stated. Almost the same as yours, but older, m57 in my e53.
-
I appreciate it; that is quite useful. Thank you for that.
-
I believe the M57 goes from 6 to 1 on the HP pump, then from 1 back to pipe, though I haven't played with one in a while. Turn off the intake manifold job so you can see it clearly.

M57N2 and the fuel return line that extends from the injector's upper end.

By "overflow oil line," do you mean a specific engine?

My 2009 BMW E91 LCI, which belongs to my wife, needs a new overflow oil line. Could someone please tell me what it is and how it relates to something I can't seem to locate? Could you please?

OK. I was wondering if, considering their history with the site, you wouldn't have expected them to post
-
As previously mentioned, as forum sponsors, it would surely not be too difficult to mention that policy change here.
-
Maybe being "Comand Online" was thought to be too limiting.
-
It appears that trading is still Unique Car Sound's "main" business.
-
They should have announced it in the forum, but they didn't. Naturally, unless I've somehow missed it...
-
It appears they no longer trade online; I was just suggesting them to someone outside of this forum. Or is it that I'm a master locator? LOL

I've come across a few posts that had similar initial messages. It appears that a date x months from the build date (even without a specified next date) could be triggered by the factory default to Automatic (under Vehicle Maintenance Settings). I changed the Next Service Date from Automatic to Manual in April 2023, after my build was completed in January 2023. Instead of selecting a date, I left "Set Next Service Distance" at 5,000 miles and "Set Next Service Date" blank. Finally, hit the Reset button. Approximately 500 miles prior to the next 5,000 interval, a message reminder has consistently appeared. I am uncertain if your firmware had any effect.

Your vehicle clearly needs some TLC.

Yes, I can disable it, but I'm curious as to what set it off. It was not a date flag because the next service date is not entered. Doing my best to stay away from the casino...
