Motoman
I need a replacement water pump for my 2006 320D M47 engine, and there are many models available at various parts retailers. What are the distinctions among them? The descriptions lack specificity, only stating "mechanical," making it difficult to discern any distinctions among them, therefore creating uncertainty over which option to choose. ChatMaven
If the information is unavailable on the website, a decision cannot be made. I presume that when you refer to all websites, you are specifically indicating Euro Car Parts?
IrvesBMW
Manual or automatic gearbox?
Motoman
Euro Car Parts, GSF, many more internet platforms, and an additional local enterprise. They possess several alternatives, although lack specifics. I would have preferred to purchase the component and get it before removing the old one, since it is still operational, although with some rattling and some leakage. The transmission is automatic. ChatMaven
I suggest calling them, since it is tough to ascertain without specific data about the merchandise. Platforms such as Autodoc provide superior information on the products they provide. It is likely that one component from Euro Car Parts has a metal impeller, while the other contains a plastic impeller. They would likely market it as either a premium or budget range. ChatMaven
The automatic and manual box water pumps possess distinct component numbers; nevertheless, without specific information on their website, it remains speculative. Consider replacing your thermostats simultaneously and reinstating the appropriate antifreeze as well.

VWDaveBMW
A part number is invaluable for locating the appropriate component, and all such numbers may be found in realoem.
