CodeCrusader
Hello everyone I have had my automobile for about one week and I am really enjoying it. One detail that escaped my attention was the absence of a trim piece on the lower part of the rear bumper. Could someone assist me in obtaining a component number, preferably at a reasonable cost, or guide me to a reliable source for purchasing a used one? Hopefully, someone in this group has one. WordSmith
I am uncertain whether it is just me, but I am unable to see the location to which you are alluding. Simply inquire about the pricing with your nearby MB parts department. In addition to a circuit breaker, where else can you get a certain trim component? CodeCrusader
On the lower part of the rear bumper, namely where the black section is located. There are many spots available, about 15 to 20. I first believed that it was only an aperture for a sensor, but it turns out that there is a little piece of trim that fits into that space. a chromium-plated component. I am seeking either someone who has a product they are willing to sell to me, or a recommendation for a reputable seller of used items. WordSmith
To find Mercedes breakers, just do an online search. There are several options available, however it is advisable to inquire about pricing at your local Mercedes-Benz parts department. I have reservations about its high cost. bvlenci
There should be a diffuser trim present, with faux exhaust chrome points on both sides.
CodeCrusader
Thank you. Now I am aware that it is absent, and even though it is only a matter of appearance, my obsessive-compulsive disorder has been triggered! laugh out loud
WordSmith
It is advisable to either visit MB Newcastle in person or attempt to contact them via their eBay page. Their assistance is often really beneficial. 👍
WordSmith
If the situation is really unfavourable, it may be classified as a CDO (Certified Disaster Only). Rest assured, there is no need for concern.
