bvlenci
The vehicle in question is a 2011 W212 E350cdi. While taking a walk in Arundel, she abruptly lost interest in altering her plans until she reached the door of 3K. She attempted to transfer to S and then M, but unfortunately, it did not work. I was hesitant to risk taking her for a longer run. Upon reviewing the data, it seems that there was an ATF change at 60,000 miles in 2021 (now at 76,000 miles). I have come across the term 'gearbox service' but I am uncertain about its specific functions. Is there anybody else present?
Mistral
The automobile has entered limp mode as a protective measure. It is necessary to have the fault codes examined, since the issue might be of various kind.
bvlenci
Although there are no fault codes shown on the dashboard, I connected my iCarsoft MB V2 diagnostic tool, but it too did not detect any faults. It is likely that Star needs to be in a reputable independent film. TDudette
Occasionally, doing a power cycle may effectively restore the system to its default state. The issue you are experiencing may be attributed to the engine and is unrelated to the gearbox.

bvlenci
After consulting a local Mercedes professional who used the Star diagnostic system, it was determined that no problems were detected. Furthermore, during a subsequent test drive, the issue could not be reproduced.
TDudette
Attempt to reset the gearbox and let it to adapt to your driving style.
bvlenci
Although I discovered the instructions on how to address the issue on Youtube, it resurfaced after a few weeks. I am astonished that a vehicle entering limp mode without the possibility to switch to Manual or Sport mode would not generate any problem on Star diagnostic system. (However, I must acknowledge that I am completely unaware of the limitations of Star diagnostic equipment)
Geek2232
To explore a cost-effective solution for replacement components, consider fully charging the battery and replacing the DPF pressure sensor with an authentic Mercedes device. It seems that I had similar symptoms, which did not involve the production of code that could be replicated. Occasionally, resetting the automobile by turning it off and on may resolve the error. It became more consistent. The problem seems to have been resolved with the installation of my new DPF pressure sensor.
