ForumGuru
Has anybody used their services or any of the other e-commerce companies?
bvlenci
Indeed, we made a purchase of an automobile with them a few years back. Everything proceeded with great ease.
Paqngo
I have not personally, but three acquaintances of mine have. They informed me that they were all pleased with their acquisitions … However, none of them showed any interest in automobiles and were likely not concerned about the specifications or condition. They just wanted a convenient and problem-free purchase and delivery, without being concerned about discounts or prices.
alpaco45
My brother purchased a Cooper S from them and then traded it in for an Audi TT. Despite not purchasing the Abarth from them, they accepted it as a trade-in for the Cooper. The old automobile is removed and the new one is delivered, which pleases him. He diligently completes his homework, enabling him to have a clear understanding of what he is searching for. Although he is not a vehicle enthusiast, he is a designer who has a keen eye for detail and does not overlook any shortcomings in the state of a car. He is rather meticulous and particular. He is quite satisfied with Cinch and intends to use their services again.
TDudette
Personally, I am unwilling to purchase a vehicle without physically seeing it first. However, I understand the attractiveness of such a proposition for those who are not very interested in cars.
alpaco45
You are allotted a certain duration to bring back the car in case it encounters any problems. I find it to be a favourable proposition. The preferred car is delivered to your location, and you have the opportunity to inspect and report any issues. It must be superior than wandering around vehicle showrooms, enduring traffic, and interacting with unpleasant or arrogant salespeople. TDudette
However, it is uncommon for individuals to return them, even if they have defects. Instead, they often opt for a partial refund and send the item to a repair facility. The explanation is evident: they had already disposed of their previous automobile and returning the new one would leave them without a vehicle. Not all auto salespeople exhibit such behaviour, just to clarify... I did not!
jennycarlotta
Recently, it was stated that Cinch was facing significant difficulties: https://cardealermagazine.co.uk/publish/used-car-dealer-cinch-lost-181m-in-2023-results-reveal/295932#:~:text=Cinch is part of the,£103.9m in 2023. jennycarlotta
Cazoo seems to be in a similar situation: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2024/02/10/cazoo-seeks-cash-lifeline-to-escape-insolvency/
WordSmith
Cazoo is facing significant challenges and is struggling to stay afloat, as shown by its own news releases indicating the sale of assets such as vehicles. Cinch is affiliated with BCA and WBAC, belonging to the same organisation. This affiliation provides them access to a vehicle buying and selling pipeline, as well as a robust financial assistance network to mitigate any potential difficulties during challenging months. vehicle dealerships and the whole transaction process may be intimidating, and certain vehicle dealers (especially those working in dealerships or car supermarkets who are not company owners themselves) typically, and rightfully so, have a less than favourable reputation. I have encountered situations with them that my wife and daughter would not have found agreeable, but I persisted only because the automobiles we were purchasing were advantageous offers. They would be more suited for remote purchase.
