jimmy47785
Greetings, everybody! What may be the cause of the fluctuating or surging RPMs I am experiencing? While in park, the revolutions per minute (rpm) fluctuate, and I can perceive the automobiles' sounds altering in tandem with the rpm changes. Video: Additionally, I am experiencing a bothersome whining noise upon cold starting the vehicle, which diminishes as the car becomes warmer. Despite my efforts to replace the PS oil with fresh oil and bleeding the system, the whining sound persists. Video:

bvlenci
The idle spark plugs should be checked for proper gaps or replaced and subsequently inspected, along with the coil packs. I would begin with the plugs and proceed thereafter.

clk320x4
+1. Upon hearing the OP's remark of increasing RPM, it was my first response.
Trevorseaf
I had a similar issue and attributed it to the jamming of the MOT evap valve.
Howard_silver
Over time, intake pipes become rigid and fragile, causing them to lose their grip and perhaps leading to an increase in RPM.
