Screwdriver_1
Greetings, everyone. I have been in possession of my CX-30 for a duration of around 7 months, and I am really enjoying the experience. One concern that has arisen in recent months is to a creaking or rattling sound emanating from the upper black panel located on the front doors in close proximity to the glass. Has this problem been encountered by any other individuals? I presented my vehicle to the car dealer, who said that the issue in question is a "characteristic inherent to the automobile." However, I hold the belief that this assertion lacks credibility. Over the course of time, the manifestation of uneven road conditions has been more apparent. WordSmith
In the aforementioned region, it is possible that the seat-belt buckle may be oriented incorrectly when in the "parked" position. This observation was made in my own experience, particularly when I would perceive auditory disturbances originating from that vicinity. Upon alighting from the vehicle, my spouse consistently has a tendency to rotate the seat belt upon its release, subsequently repositioning it next to the pillar. However, due to the absence of any cushioning, the buckle comes into contact with the B frame plastic panel located in close proximity to the seat, failing to assume the appropriate position. There are no instances of rattles or creaking seen in my CX-30 vehicle.
Geek2232
Greetings, everyone, I have just encountered a situation where the front driver's door of my vehicle, manufactured in the year 2020, has begun emitting a creaking sound. I am curious to know whether others have had a similar problem and if so, how they were able to resolve it.
Paqngo
It is advisable to apply lubrication to the door hinges in order to ascertain if they are the origin of the auditory disturbance.
Geek2232
Today, I applied lubrication to the hinges; nevertheless, there was no discernible alteration as the creaking sounds persists. It seems that I will be required to bring my CX30 vehicle to the authorised dealership for repair, since the three-year warranty coverage for the vehicle ended in the previous month. alpaco45
Was the latch mechanism side also lubricated?
