drummer
Greetings, fellow individuals. I would like to inform everyone about a retail establishment where aftermarket air springs for the allroad vehicle model may be purchased. The aforementioned entity is a Florida-based corporation that specializes in the production and distribution of air suspension components. Arnott Incorporated. The website of Arnott Industries offers a range of products related to air suspension, including air suspension kits, air shocks, parts, struts, air suspension bags, and pumps. I made a telephone contact to them earlier today and engaged in a conversation with an individual identified as Lisa. According to her, the completion of the front air springs was just accomplished in response to a significant level of consumer demand. Currently, efforts are being made to address the aforementioned issues. Additionally, she made reference to an ongoing development of a coil spring kit nearing completion. This development will be very advantageous for those who have recurrent suspension issues. The coil spring kit is now being constructed, including KYB shocks, and it has been announced that BILSTEIN shocks will be made available until the conclusion of the year. Today, I made a payment of $299 for the acquisition of a new front spring. The product is accompanied by a warranty that extends for the duration of the user's lifetime. I am delighted to have successfully repaired this automobile without incurring expenses over $1000 once again. I will provide updates as soon as I obtain the updated component. I want to get it installed prior to the commencement of the weekend. I would want to inform all individuals that there exists a glimmer of hope within challenging circumstances. I will provide regular updates.

drummer
Ladies and gentlemen, Apologies for the delayed communication on the progress of my installation. The front air springs were obtained and were fitted three days after their receipt. The air springs were accompanied by comprehensive and user-friendly instructions that provide step-by-step guidance for their installation process. I must express my admiration for the high level of quality. The vehicle maintains a favorable elevation each morning when I depart. The vehicle has a very smooth ride quality, and notably, it no longer experiences any instances of fluid leakage. The tires have accumulated around 5,000 kilometers. It has been observed that remanufactured compressors are now available, and there is an expectation that the coil spring replacement kit will be made available in December 2008. I am quite pleased to have discovered this organization. I highly suggest individuals to contact the service provider at their earliest convenience in the event of encountering any issues with their air suspension system. Howard_silver
It is advisable to exercise caution while considering the purchase of "remanufactured" compressors. I acquired a component from Arnott, which proved to be a pre-owned item that had been repainted black. However, it was discovered that many of the air tube fittings had been damaged, leaving the component non-functional. It is worth noting that these fittings are integral to the compressor and are not available for individual purchase from Audi. I just became aware of this situation when my previous compressor malfunctioned, leaving my vehicle elevated on jackstands on a Saturday. I encountered a predicament when Audi quoted a price of $1200 for the required component. I recollected seeing information on an online platform indicating that Mercedes Benz used a same component. I visited the nearby Mercedes-Benz dealership and was pleasantly surprised to find that a new compressor was available for purchase for a price of around $325, with a discount applied to the final cost. I simply need to integrate the wiring connection by splicing and used gasoline line as a means to link the MB air fitting to my vehicle. Not too intricate for the majority of amateur mechanics that engage in automotive repairs as a hobby, such as myself. The product functions well and reliably, and its novelty eliminates any uncertainty over the durability of previously owned or refurbished components. The part number for the MB component is 211-320-03-04. It is worth noting that Arnott did agree to accept the return of the item; however, they declined to provide a refund for the shipping costs. In the event that one of my bags becomes worn out, I anticipate a more favorable outcome with regard to their durability, since the price point is rather enticing. clk320x4
Two compressors were sent to me, with one of them being superficially spray painted black, without any internal modifications or replacements. The electrical connections were severed, resulting in the deterioration of the rubber covering around the wires. The compressor generated a pressure of 50 pounds per square inch (psi), indicating its poor quality. I have received another item from them, and it seems that they just rebrand generic products and redistribute them. when examination, it is evident that when opening one, there is a lack of any novel content therein. Currently, I am faced with the predicament of using a potentially substandard compressor obtained from a remanufacturing firm of questionable repute. This compressor is being used on a customer's allroad vehicle, which I am unable to rectify due to its inability to sustain any level of reservoir pressure. The part number for the MB component is 211-320-03-04. It should be noted that Arnott did agree to accept the return of the component; however, they declined to provide a refund for the shipping costs. In the event that one of my bags becomes worn out, I anticipate a more favorable outcome with the replacement bags due to their appealing price point. jimmy47785
I have been using Arnott airbag replacements for around 1.5 years, during which I have driven a distance of 20,000 miles, including some off-road terrain. The ride is original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and there are no signs of leakage. The original factory bags installed on my 2001 vehicle had a long lifespan. However, the durability and performance of the aftermarket Arnott's bags are yet to be determined. However, the technician expressed admiration for the high quality craftsmanship of the products and their seamless installation process, which included all the necessary components. In Southern California, he provides maintenance services for a significant number of all-road vehicles and has recently included airbag repair as a regular part of his operations due to the high demand for such services. I have also changed one bag at a time, without pairing them, and have not had any issues so far. Approximately four years ago, I noticed that my bags began to exhibit leakage. This issue persists in my 2001 allorad vehicle, which has accumulated 80,000 miles. Currently, I only own one original equipment manufacturer (OEM) bag, and unfortunately, it is also experiencing leakage. Consequently, the vehicle tends to lower in height after standing stationary overnight. It is now appropriate to contact Arnott. If the vehicle's performance did not meet expectations despite its functional state, it is likely that it would have been replaced with a different model at an earlier time. The individual derives pleasure from the given situation.
br1anuk
The updated rear air spring assembly incorporates a Goodyear bladder, which is accompanied by meticulously crafted components made from CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminum. The air springs in question are supported by a warranty that extends for the duration of the product's lifetime. The assembly is supplied with brand new seals. It is now possible to replace air springs at a cost below $600.00 per unit, hence avoiding the need to rely only on local dealerships for this service. This component may be installed in either the left or right rear position. Characteristics: • Goodyear Air Spring Bladder • CNC Machined Cap & Piston • Inclusion of New O-rings • Engineering and Manufacturing in the United States of America
SkippyTom
I am encountering a similar issue with the air suspension on the right side of my vehicle, whereby it exhibits a tendency to undergo undesired sagging when in a stationary state. Occasionally, I perceive an auditory sensation like a hissing sound emanating from the left side of the subject of interest. I am intrigued by the selective nature of this leakage, as it seems to occur only at the discretion of the source. Nevertheless, throughout the operation of the vehicle, I have seen a recurring issue whereby the front suspensions exhibit a sagging phenomenon. Despite the activation of the air pump system, the suspensions fail to restore themselves to the desired first or second level. This problem persists until the vehicle is brought to a complete stop, at which point I must patiently wait for a minimum of five minutes until the air pump successfully elevates the suspensions back to the desired second level. Occasionally, the pump fails to operate until a significant period of rest is provided. Is it possible that this issue might be attributed to a malfunctioning pump in conjunction with an air suspension malfunction? I am grateful for any assistance that may be provided with the aforementioned issue.
jimmy47785
Although I lack expertise in mechanics, I have personally experienced the replacement of suspension air bags on three separate occasions. The observable manifestations associated with a minor rupture in the rubber container consist only of drooping corners. A complete tear will result in the vehicle being consistently set at level 1 and displaying the manual mode indicator. The compressor may experience burn-out as it attempts to maintain inflation of leaky bags; nevertheless, it is worth noting that an automated shut-off mechanism is activated when the compressor reaches high temperatures. The increased temperature during operation is plainly the factor that contributes to more wear on the specific component. Based on the information provided, it seems that there is a presence of one or more bags that are experiencing leakage. If you happen to be in Los Angeles, I am able to provide a commendation for an exceptional automotive technician.
SkippyTom
I express my gratitude to you, sir, for your prompt response. Regrettably, I am now situated in the northern region. I will promptly replace the air suspension system that is now experiencing leakage.
Trevorseaf
I have successfully restored functionality to a malfunctioning compressor. I am able to provide assistance if you are located in close proximity to Portland, Oregon. I am disappointed by the unavailability of compressor components and the general acceptance of the cost associated with their replacement. Regarding the air bladders, I came across a post whereby one individual resorted to the application of stop leak substance inside one of these bladders as a temporary solution. This approach does not need advanced scientific knowledge.
SkippyTom
Thank you for your response. Regrettably, I am now located in the province of Ontario, Canada. It would be very appreciated if you could provide a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to repair the compressor. However, an alternative to Audi is available from Benz at a price that is $200 lower. Trevorseaf
In this discourse, I would like to propose a shift in perspective regarding the subject matter at I am not inclined to provide my personal information to profit-seeking entities inside the corporate sector. However, if you are an individual seeking assistance with a self-directed solution, I am willing to provide my support. I refuse to provide information to another firm. It is plausible that some enterprises possess the knowledge and expertise to effectively restore these compressors, hence generating substantial profits as a result. I am unable to recall their name, which may indicate a lapse in memory. Consequently, there is uncertainty on the accuracy of the information provided. Please inform me. Could you please provide me with your references? Thank you.
carBlacken
Caution! Caution should be used while installing Arnott air bags. I just acquired and had the installation of two front Arnott Gen II air springs and Bilstein shocks carried out by a long-standing, professionally-run firm with a 30-year history. The provided instructions for installation were found to be quite ambiguous and needed the assistance of technical support. One of the air line fittings provided was successfully affixed, creating a secure connection with the pre-existing air line and ensuring a reliable seal. However, the other fitting did not achieve the same outcome. Following a prolonged two-hour exchange with Arnott technical support and management, their refusal to acknowledge the possibility of a poor fitting persisted. I was compelled to get a fresh fitting. I will be departing on a trip the next day and am in need of expedited shipping services. The cost of the item is high. The observed attitude of the individuals in question may suggest a possible deficiency in the provision of assistance, as well as their subjective understanding and application of warranty-related determinations. The decision to charge $5 for the fitting has potentially jeopardized their future business prospects, recommendations, and reputation within the Audi community. Consumers should use caution and be vigilant while making purchases.
