Upon analysing this mentally: The occupancy sensor only informs the ECU about the deployment of the airbag and the need to check for the seat belt clasp, correct? If the sensor is defective, the vehicle likely perceives the seat as unoccupied. What is the reason for the lights to stay illuminated intermittently when a load is applied and then removed?

Greetings to everybody I have scheduled my vehicle for a MOT this Friday and have just recalled an occasional problem associated with an error number that, if activated, results in an automatic failure. The problem is sporadic and occurs just when weight is applied to the passenger seat. The resolution is not expedient if the occupancy sensor is defective. I find it quite absurd to only wish that the tester refrains from occupying the passenger seat. 😂 I have seen several opinions about these bypass emulators; does anybody possess knowledge with them?

You refer to 'emits smoke'... what is the hue, light grey or black smoke? The colour of smoke is essential for diagnosis. Examining the hue of the smoke online may provide useful insights. When was the air filter recently inspected, cleaned, or replaced? Ensure it is properly inserted and sealed effectively. Your initial Sign-Up did not specify the vehicle's engine variant—only the year 2014 was mentioned. Understanding the engine may be beneficial.
  11. Attention, everyone, are we all seated comfortably? Kia Bolton spent a week hypothesising that the wheel wobbling, which occurred only when braking, was due to improper wheel balancing. I expressed my disagreement in writing. I said that I would not pay for the wheel balancing until it was determined to be the reason, since tire balance problems manifest when driving at speed, not while braking. Kia Bolton took two weeks to return this morning and provide images indicating that all four of my wheels were improperly balanced (strange, since the vehicle operates very smoothly at high speeds). Consequently, I reiterated in writing, "Please balance the wheels." I will pay for it only if it resolves the issue, which it will not. If it fails to do so, you should continue seeking a resolution. Or similar phrasing. The workshop foreman subsequently contacted me, stating that they had balanced all four wheels, although the wobble persists at the front, occurring just while braking. Fan my forehead. He further states, "the wheel balancing incurs a charge as it was necessary to eliminate it as a possibility." This individual is really exceptional. He states that although the vehicle indicates torque being sent to the wheels when stationary, no fault codes can be identified, and "neither has my master technician been able to replicate the issue." He asserts that he cannot attribute the issue to the use of Pagid discs and pads, as they are a reputable brand. Furthermore, he dismisses the possibility of the callipers being at fault or the car's attempt to rotate its wheels. The brakes are designed to impede this rotation through friction, which generates heat; this heat can subsequently cause metal, including brake discs, to melt. It cannot be that... He states, "I believe we are your local dealer; however, you might consider visiting Perry's in Preston or Acorn in Warrington." He then asked that I return his courtesy vehicle that day (I'd been out celebrating my birthday with my wife, so no way I could drive!!). In summary, we have received your £450 for the service, thank you, however we have not addressed any issues that might be covered under warranty, and we suggest you take your vehicle to another dealer. Complete disarray.

The service was done on schedule; however, they were supposed to replace the defective alarm module while in possession of the vehicle, but it was revealed that they had not ordered the replacement component. Consequently, they opted to retain my vehicle until a replacement could be procured. While it is present, I hope they are addressing the brake problem as well. However, I lack optimism.
  13. I regret to inform you that I have yet to get my automobile. I have been without my automobile for 10 days, including the day of servicing, with no indication of its return. I have received a new Sportage, which is pleasant; nevertheless, it is a PHEV and its fuel efficiency is poor. When maintaining a speed of 60mph to 65mph when passing trucks, my Sorento achieves 42 mpg throughout my commute to the office; nevertheless, I only earn 37 mpg in this allegedly eco-friendly vehicle. The radar-guided cruise control cannot be deactivated.

They were expected to replace the alarm control module, which was proved malfunctioning by diagnostic code reading; nevertheless, they failed to order the replacement for me. They may well be "Europe's foremost Kia dealer" in terms of sales volume or profit, although their after-sales service is utterly inadequate. Greetings everyone, I brought my Sorento to Bolton Kia on Friday for its fourth-year service and enquired with a technician if the car should transmit torque to the wheels when in Drive and on Auto Hold. He said that it should function as if the clutch is engaged in a manual vehicle. He took it for a test drive to verify this and returned affirming that he saw it performing as I described. He expressed his belief that it should not behave that way, although he was unable to provide any more clarification. Does anybody else's vehicle exhibit similar behaviour? When observing the display indicating the four wheels, activate Auto Hold in Drive (D). Does the display indicate orange for the wheels? When shifted into neutral, does the vehicle "relax" when the clutches disengage and the display transitions from orange to grey? I am eager to get input about the car's problem with warped brake discs, as I suspect that the brake system's excessive clamping force to stop a vehicle under torque is the cause of the brake failure. They are attempting to mislead me by suggesting it may be a wheel balance problem; nevertheless, the wobble manifests just while braking. Thank you very much
