The roughness I had become accustomed to over speed humps has dissipated, resulting in a significantly more soft ride. I have invested nearly £1000, but I believe it is a prudent expenditure. The plan involves regular oil changes and preventative maintenance, ensuring it lasts until my retirement in five years, after which I will consider investing a big sum in an alternative option. The only alternative that appeals to me, aside from a newer 3 Series six-cylinder touring model, is a Mk7.5 Golf GTI.
