I value your response. I will investigate that matter. Thank you -
Greetings. I would much value your insights. We own a 316i estate from the 64 plate, which we have had for three years. In recent months, it seems to occasionally lose substantial power for brief intervals when in motion, but only during inclement weather. I had it examined by the local mechanic, and their diagnostic instruments detected no issues whatsoever. I find it difficult to believe that the automobile is experiencing aquaplaning, given the impression of power loss is much more pronounced than that. Furthermore, what might account for its sudden increased susceptibility to aquaplaning? Is it time to sell? Do you have any insights about the situation? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

My 2018 strut gaiters have recently deteriorated. A service bulletin exists, but it pertains to a limited number of cars. My struts are "continental" Q07s, not Q04 or Q05, which seem to be the subject of the recall.

93C2 SBE Seat Mat - Potential MOT Failure?
SkippyTom replied to p00rmansp0rsche's topic in General Discussions
The ECU recognises the sensor malfunction and will default to deploying the airbag during a collision as a precaution. The emulator simulates occupancy in the ECU, causing the airbags to deploy even when the seat is unoccupied. -
93C2 SBE Seat Mat - Potential MOT Failure?
SkippyTom replied to p00rmansp0rsche's topic in General Discussions
The sensor deactivates the airbag when a child seat is installed (indicating insufficient weight for an adult) and also while the seat is unoccupied, hence preventing the need for airbag repairs post-collision and reducing insurance costs. -
like previously said, listen to the engine like we did before to our obsession with technology and reliance on assistance for every task. an alternative option Consider purchasing an automatic vehicle next time, since this pertains to fundamental manual driving skills. Perhaps you have just begun driving, and are thus in the process of learning? I apologize if this is the situation.

Does this also occur in petrol engines? I am considering a 520 SE Touring with 37,000 miles, or should I purchase an E-Class? 😀
