  1. You have the option to have the automobile fixed or reject it during the first 30 days if you are insured by CRA. For my part, I'd turn down the automobile completely. They offered it as totally working even though they knew it was a "spares and repairs" vehicle; if you want to reject it for principle or just to be safe, that's OK.
  2. However, in the future, when purchasing an automobile, avoid sellers who attempt to get you to sign a "sold as seen" document. That should raise the most alarm bells in your head. Their message is essentially that "don't bring it back to us" because they know the automobile is in bad shape. While it's common practice for private sales to include an implicit sale, I've never heard of an individual selling their automobile requiring a buyer to sign a document—unless, of course, it's a dealership attempting to pull a fast one.
  3. Is this just any old dealership, even if you call it a garage? Are more vehicles available for purchase? The Consumer Rights Act might apply to you in that case. Please seek the counsel of citizens; I am not an attorney, but I can suggest that you do so.
  4. Is a head-up display available on the Sortage gt line s? No. If that's the case, how can I turn it on? The manual doesn't seem to cover it.
  5. For towbars, I recommend Witter. I thought they were headquartered out of Chester as well.
  6. It appears that dpf is currently prohibited. Whenever the eml turns on, it usually means that there have been too many failed efforts at regenerating, thus the correct equipment is needed to do it safely presently. You can see videos of a guy performing one on YouTube.
  7. It is a violation of GDPR for them to sell you the automobile while retaining the former owner's data. I am quite certain. I would return to the vendor and bring this to their attention. Consequently, if you erase the driver from the vehicle, it will be instantly removed from the Kia App as well. Indeed, return to the vendor; they are disseminating falsehoods and violating the law as well.
  8. When the car was at a stop and the Easy Entry option was engaged, the only time I heard the noise was when the steering column was telescoped up or down. I'm relieved I refrained from trying to lube anything.
  9. Under Tesla's warranty, I had the steering column replaced not long ago. For months, I endured the groaning, grinding, and vibrating sound. I searched through other threads concerning same concerns, but it appeared as though I was simply the unfortunate one. That I refrained from attempting any sort of "repair" speaks volumes. The temperature within the automobile and the surrounding weather had no effect on the occurrence of this noise. The replacement process took only a few hours, and the Service Advisor seemed to have prior knowledge of the problem. I am simply posting this to inform you.
  10. Mine exhibits identical behaviour. 😩👍
  11. An intriguing task would be to verify on a platform such as Partsouq whether the part number for the antenna has been modified in the latest model.
  12. There exists a thread pertinent to anyone experiencing the issue.
