  1. Unlocking the vehicle did not interrupt the charging process, hence the plug could not be released. Although I have planned climate control on, would it prevent the plug from being removed? I was unaware of the existence of a manual release mechanism. I will need to investigate this more. Is the location of the manual release mechanism easily noticeable?
  2. The car's clock is accurately set, correct? The vehicle remained charging even after attempting to unlock it, and it was not possible to disconnect the plug while it was still charging. It seems that there is no "stop charge" option available in the Indra charger or app. However, the feature was available on the Kia App, but as I said before, it was not functional.
  3. Greetings A few days back, I successfully had an Indra charger installed. However, this morning, the charging plug remained attached to the automobile while it was still in the process of charging. I scheduled the Indra application for the vehicle to be prepared by 6am and selected the goal charge percentage using the Kia application. By 6am, the goal percentage had been achieved, but the charging rate was still fluctuating at 1 kilowatt. I attempted to use the Kia application to issue a command to stop the charging process, but, I consistently received a recurring error message stating "unable to halt charging, kindly verify the status of your vehicle." Ultimately, I had to deactivate the Indra charger in order to detach the plug, which was not a great solution. Why does the vehicle persist in desiring to charge even after reaching its target percentage? Additionally, why does the stop charging option on the app fail to function? Do you have any insights on this matter?
  4. Indeed, I have always believed that the general principle is that higher temperatures result in thicker oil, while lower temperatures result in thinner oil, and vice versa.
  5. I like the colour combination, however I wish the wood trim was a deeper tint, such as standard or another finish. While I like vehicles with low mileage, the current mileage is really ordinary for a car of this age, which is about 20 years old. I purchased my first E55K around 9 years ago, and at that time, most of them had already reached 100,000 miles.
  6. Apologies for bringing this up again, but I have a Sandisk 128gb drive formatted as FAT32. I loaded around 100gb of songs, however the vehicle is not detecting all of them. Would it be better to format with NTFS instead? Uncertain about the optimal file format and compatibility of the automobile with file types other than mp3.
  7. That will not resolve an airbag warning light. Most garages will delete it for a little fee.
  8. Thank you for providing this information. I verified it around one month before to the service, and the bar consistently displayed a green colour. This is the lowest level I have ever seen. Is fixing a sensor problem costly?
  9. Any suggestions on the appropriate amount for the top-up depending on the present levels?
  10. Thank you, DSM10000. On Saturday, we drove for 40 minutes, and after checking, the level remained same.
  11. reetings, everybody. Seeking guidance, please. I own a 2020 Mercedes E Class Saloon (e220) diesel type. Last Friday, I brought my car to the major Mercedes dealer for a Service A. After returning home after the servicing, I inspected the oil level on the instrument cluster and found it to be quite low. Mercedes informed me that the oil level I described is correct, since it will increase as the vehicle warms up. After driving around 60 miles on Saturday, I inspected the oil level and it remained low. Mercedes claims there are no issues and that the situation is typical, although my invoice indicates that 6 litres of oil should have been added. I have sent an image of the instrument's reading. Is this accurate given that my vehicle was serviced on Friday? Where should the reading be when the engine is cold and warm? I would much appreciate any suggestions. Mercedes has informed me that they would replenish my oil at my residence tomorrow. I am concerned about how I can verify that they have really added the 6 litres for which they have billed me. Any advice on this would be much welcomed as it seems like a mistake made by the dealer where they emptied the oil but did not fully tilt it up. Please refer to the accompanying image showing the current oil reading. Thank you in advance.
  12. In 2014, I used the red V8 Bentley often. The Bentley would emit a distinctive aroma typical of its brand, while also performing as a Grand Tourer with a genuine feeling of importance and impressive speed. I often drove this automobile from Crewe to the Lake District while working on its development. Truthfully, the Audi A8 I purchased in 2020 was a superior vehicle. Efficient, silent, cosy, roomy, and capable of achieving 55mpg, making it more cost-effective to operate. It just depends on how significant a prestigious emblem is to you.
  13. Although I lack familiarity with the CL model, I had a S Class for many years and utilised it for long-distance commuting. This automobile is quite easy to drive without any attempt of being sporty.
  14. It has been a long time since I last saw it, yet I would often find myself in possession of my own keys.
  15. If the coolant level is satisfactory, I would suggest examining the error codes using the OBD2 system.
  16. The seller bears responsibility in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act, making the use of a guarantee unnecessary.
  17. Although I am not an authority on the subject, I have experience the need for repainting shortly after applying a ceramic coating. They implemented a delay of around one week, or maybe 10 days, prior to reapplying the ceramic coating. In my opinion, a period of around 3-4 weeks should enough. However, for confirmation, I would recommend consulting the bodyshop, the website or manufacturer of the detailed product, and the detailer (if you are opting for professional services).
  18. I am familiar with the hold feature of the previous SBC unit. I believe that MB included this feature in the updated models of non-SBC vehicles. However, I am not engaging in that behavior in my own actions...at least not deliberately.
  19. These do not contain the letter "w". Only C / S. Do not assume that it also occurs in S.
  20. The transmission and torque converter fluid have been replaced, along with the filter.
