The 2004 320TD compact requires both inner and exterior tie rods.

I am uncertain about the shocks, but I am mostly referring to the other components of the suspension system such as arms, tie rods, and bushings. -

I just purchased front shock mounts and saw that both of them were labelled as "Made in China." -

Lemforder's current quality standards have declined compared to its previous reputation. However, there is a possibility of obtaining older stock parts that were built in Germany, known for their exceptional durability. However, the majority of it is now manufactured in China and is of poor quality. -
That would be a substantial challenge to overcome; I would certainly get a quotation from a trustworthy independent mechanic or engine expert.

The front door emits a creaking or rattling sound.

It is advisable to apply lubrication to the door hinges in order to ascertain if they are the origin of the auditory disturbance. -
Indeed, your statement is accurate.

The only common concern that comes to mind is the occurrence of diminished voltage in the battery. However, it is important to note that the likelihood of success is uncertain, since the presence of low battery voltage might potentially lead to a range of other complications. It is important to have the fault codes examined in order to address the issue effectively. It is advisable to transport the vehicle to an autonomous expert who has STAR certification. In addition, the acquisition of an iCarsoft MB v3.0 is recommended for those with intentions of maintaining their vehicle over an extended period of time.

Could you please provide the date of the air filter?
Paqngo replied to Rashman4u's topic in General Discussions
It is important to consider that the provided information pertains just to the production date of the filter. Determining the precise timing of the car's installation is impossible without possessing the vehicle from its first acquisition. The object in question may have been stored on a shelf within a container, remaining untouched and accumulating dust for a number of years, until it was eventually installed onto the vehicle. If the automobile was purchased as a pre-owned vehicle, it is plausible that the installation of some components may have occurred shortly before the purchase transaction took place. -
Which component are you referring to, the fuel filler flap or the tank recess containing the diesel and ad-blue filling holes? There exist two distinct components, and it is essential to accurately identify the appropriate segment based on the location of the division. In the provided diagram, the component labeled as #220 corresponds to the gasoline filler cap, while Part# A 25 375 704 00 designates a specific part inside the system. The tank recess containing filling holes is identified as #200, whereas Part # A 25 363 017 02 corresponds to a specific component. The provided part numbers correspond to a GLC 220d vehicle with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) beginning with 253 904, as seen in the figure below. If I were in your situation, I would recommend visiting the authorized dealer and placing an order for the required component, providing them with your vehicle's registration or vehicle identification number (VIN). It is unlikely that you will find a much lower price anywhere.

The observed decrease of 10.5% in emissions is far more than anticipated. I am curious as to how the increase in fuel consumption leads to an improvement in emissions to the extent that is being reported.

In the event that the vehicle in question is equipped with a diesel engine, it is plausible that Mercedes-Benz (MB) may undertake an electronic control unit (ECU) upgrade to ensure compliance with the exhaust pollution standards specified for that particular model. This action is reminiscent of the well publicized "dieselgate" scandal. It is worth noting that such an update has the potential to marginally affect the vehicle's performance and/or fuel efficiency. However, the extent to which one might see this phenomenon in practical settings remains uncertain.

It is advisable to consider revising the specific details of your location. It is not advisable to disclose one's whole address and postal code on a publicly accessible forum. -

Was the pump replaced or was the rear housing also modified? The practice of replacing both the pump and the rear housing is consistently undertaken due to the observation of hairline fractures in the latter component. -
The efficacy of the penetrating oil has resulted in the restoration of complete mobility. The process of removing one's clothing will really be performed, as it is evident that the current state of the clothing is not entirely satisfactory in terms of its texture and appearance. I express my gratitude for the assistance provided.

The provided explanation is coherent. I considered doing the test as per your suggestion; however, precipitation had started and I was hesitant to take the chance of being unable to close the glass. Yesterday evening, the windshield wiper became immobilized at the position of complete rotation and remained still. Earlier today, I applied a quick and gentle force on the stalk, causing it to effortlessly return to its original resting position. The subject exhibited a persistent lack of response subsequent to the aforementioned incident. I want to apply a fresh layer of oil on it over the next weekend, if everything goes as planned. Expressing gratitude for the assistance provided is very appreciated.

After extensively reviewing YouTube videos, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the appropriate course of action. I also placed an order for o-rings. One aspect that remains uncertain is the movement of the wiper arm when the glass is raised. While there exists a certain degree of resistance, it is neither prevalent or dominant in any significant manner. Nevertheless, it seems that the issue is with the circular component that accommodates the plunger rod. During a certain period, I successfully manipulated the whole assembly manually, with relative ease. However, I soon encountered increased resistance, ultimately resulting in a jam occurring consistently at the same location. On a few occasions, I successfully operated the wiper in its intended manner using the motor. However, in each instance, once it reached a certain position, it became stuck. Do you have any views or opinions on the matter? I want to thoroughly dismantle the spindle, contingent upon favorable weather conditions, over the next weekend. However, I am somewhat inclined to believe that the circular component may be the source of the issue. I am uncertain about the specific terminology associated with the mentioned component, which hinders my ability to conduct an effective search.

This marks the conclusion of the matter. I performed hand oscillatory movements on the object many times, resulting in its partial restoration of mobility, but with intermittent instances of obstruction. What is the most effective method for resolving a seized mechanism?

I am astonished to have discovered that the glass has the capability to elevate in such a manner, since I was previously unaware of its functionality. However, this was not the primary concern.

May I inquire as to the geographical location of this particular place? At first, I had the belief that the bottom of the boot included the desired component. However, upon closer examination, I saw that my boot alone has a latch mechanism without a plunger. Consequently, it is plausible that my search is not directed towards the appropriate location.

HI everyone. The rear windscreen wiper of my 2010 E91 318i ceased functioning at an undetermined time over the last several weeks. The device was functioning well throughout its previous use. The first examination was inspecting the fuse. All available online sources consistently indicate that the fuse responsible for the issue is F48. However, upon inspection, it is seen that no fuse is present at the designated place. I have refrained from engaging in frivolous activities within that context, therefore indicating that it is not the source of concern. Do you have any knowledge on the specific fuse that should be used? Furthermore, the vehicle specification indicates the presence of a "rear wiper and washer" feature, with the washer function being operational. Hence, it is plausible to consider the possibility of a faulty relay as the cause of the issue.

Unless one has longer shocks to accommodate more travel, there is no practical need in installing Gen 3 Arnotts. In my assessment, the Arnotts have inherent design flaws, especially when longer shocks are used. Observation I successfully replaced a malfunctioning air spring in the state of Colorado, as documented on the Range Rovers Forum.

I need to know if anybody can identify the source of this piece.
