  2. Were you the one to do it yourself or did you take it to a garage? Was the appropriate DCT Fluid used? The clutches slip in these transmissions if the fluid isn't changed regularly, but I've found that changing the fluid improves the changes (though it can take a few thousand kilometres for them to settle down again, especially if it's been long overdue), so it's not always the case. I have my doubts that it is DCT fluid. In any case, is the fluid level accurate? Although getting it right is a bit of a challenge, I have seen transmissions that were substantially overfilled and still functioned properly. However, I'm fairly certain that won't occur if the position is underfilled.
  3. OBDLINK EX FORScan OBD Adapter : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive
  4. There is no record of prior fluid changes that I am aware of. Before I shell out €4,000 for a clutch, I'll check if the problem persists after changing the fluid and filter and running a ForScan relearn procedure.
  5. Is the frequency of gearbox fluid service up to the most recent one something you are aware of? Issues might develop if these boxes are not serviced thoroughly at the prescribed intervals. It could be wise to get it checked out by a professional who deals with these transmissions frequently.
  6. Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Powershift, 2010 model year The gearbox fluid was changed at 117,000 kilometres, and the current mileage is 125,000 kilometres. Every time I shift from second to first gear or during an upshift, I hear clunking and jerking sounds. Light acceleration is accompanied by a metallic noise, resembling vibrating springs, between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm. With the exception of a few slips, the car is reasonably stable on the highway; on the 500 km return from Spain, I had six 2-second slips. The vehicle stutters between 1,000 and 2,500 rpm, as if the computer is desperately trying to find traction in every gear (even manual mode). Are any suggestions out there?
  7. Exide Ek151 Agm Car Battery 15 Ah : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive
  8. To remove restrictions from the battery management app, open the app in your phone's app drawer, choose Android Auto, and then locate the app. Best regards

  10. To "forget" the car and reconnect, try resetting CarPlay on your phone. So, you want to make a call from your phone while driving?
  11. Is CarPlay available for your vehicle year?

  13. My phone still won't pair with CarPlay, even after buying a data-only cable. Bluetooth is functional. the prior owner did not link their vehicle to CarPlay. I'm confused about how to fix this.

  15. Is there a dashcam in the vehicle that connects to the mirror in the back? Ask me how I know this, but even though the adaptor is fantastic, taking the cover off is a certain way to ruin the plastic clips. Parts of the car's trim falling off isn't just cosmetic, but if I were you, I'd just buy the cover and save £20. Make sure to inspect for damage the next time the cover is removed. Unless you've only had the car for a few days, I wouldn't expect Kia to cover anything if there is. Assuming it's broken, the worst-case scenario is that they'll charge you for a diagnostic.
  16. Kia Niro 2022-Present Multi Sensor Cover | Genuine Kia Parts UK | Official Supplier
  17. How many years? It seems like a damaged clip.
  18. I completely forgot. I am a Hybrid 2 KIA Niro
  19. If someone knows the answer, please tell me. I apologise in advance for the length: Even after spending an inordinate amount of time adjusting it, this cover won't stay put. It "clicked" the first time I returned it to the dealer; he came out, replicated my actions, and then declared that was it. Oh, absolutely. After 10 minutes, it came off. Although the previous visit to the dealer took half an hour, the salesperson advised me to use double-sided tape in case it came off again (?). With my 7-year warranty in mind, I enquired about the possibility of getting a new cover. This was deemed "cosmetic" and hence excluded from the warranty, according to the response. The shroud conceals the ADAS camera and other sensors; thus, it poses a safety concern, in my opinion. Also, according to Kia rules, it's not allowed to use adhesives.

  21. So that I can adjust the ride height, I just bought a Launch diagnostic tool.
  22. Even though I'm 81 years old, I won't be sleeping tonight because there are no leaks and the ride is much better.
  23. It has been a long time since I last did mine, but I'm still confused because I thought the pipe to bag had an O-ring.
