dave783
Uncertain about the specific specifications of my vehicle, I have started using VIN decoders. I had never used one before, but I experimented with a handful that either displayed nothing or were quite peculiar. The vendor said that there was a single Turbo, and I have no reason to question this; still, I would want to get further technical specifications. It does not seem very fast, but I have just had it for a few days.
dave783
BMW 1 SERIES (2011) 2.0 118d M Sport Coupe 2-door Diesel Manual Euro 5 (143 ps) I did not get an owner's handbook or service history booklet, which I have enquired about. I can search for most information online, however it would be beneficial to learn about Alarm/Audio systems, among other topics. I have previously commented about a problem with the Start/Stop feature and got prompt responses. I saw today that there is a message indicating the passenger airbag is off. It is situated in an unusual location next to the light console in the roof lining, so I am surprised I saw it. There may be a valid cause for its absence, however. I will verify the VIN to ensure it corresponds with the invoice. Nonetheless, I am still acclimating to everything; yet, the experience has been rather nice so far. ForumGuru
Passenger airbags must be deactivated when a rear-facing infant seat is installed. Open the passenger door to locate a key switch at the end of the dashboard; retrieve the blade key from your key fob and reactivate it. drummer
Single turbo with changeable geometry; 2011 predates the use of dual power. I believe that did not appear till the F series vehicles. They remain a single turbo; however, the exhaust casing is uniquely designed with two internal channels to enhance efficiency.
