Howard_silver
I have just completed a 2400 kilometre round trip in my wife's 2024 CX-5 Black Edition. I must assert that it far surpasses the CX-60; it operates smoothly and navigates highways and imperfections without exhibiting any signs of impending failure. Fuel usage was similar due to my aggressive driving. The comfort level much improved, eliminating the struggle with the steering and the irritating beeps and cautions when overtaking. My wife wants to exchange my CX-60 for her CX-5, but I am concerned it may endanger her, since she will not anticipate the abrupt course adjustments that the CX-60 unpredictably executes. Blu_Ray_UK2007
I fully concur; one must be much more vigilant when operating the CX60, since I often disable several features upon entering the vehicle. My wife has a ten-year-old Mazda 3, which is enjoyable to drive devoid of excessive safety features. Nevertheless, I believe the CX-60 offers a very pleasant experience for extended excursions. alpaco45
What engine does the CX-5 utilise? I drove a petrol 2.2L CX-5 for many weeks while my CX-60 was at the dealership, and the petrol engine is inadequate.
Howard_silver
We own just the 2.0 and 2.5 engines here; therefore, there is a significant disparity between my 3.3L petrol engine and my wife's 2.0. However, it managed overtaking adequately and exhibited a generally smooth performance.
DSM10000
I regret to learn of your experiences. I must assert that I do not encounter the negative issues reported by certain CX-60 drivers. The discrepancies do not seem to manifest in all CX-60 models. My vehicle does not exhibit any sound issues, fuel consumption is rather reasonable for a big automobile, steering performance is satisfactory after the manufacturer recall, and I received new rear suspension along with ten complimentary software upgrades. I am a satisfied owner and driver of the CX-60. There may be a quality control problem at Mazda.
