Bracket for jacks

For twenty-four pounds, I recently purchased a jack bracket on eBay. It may say Hyundai on the label, but this bracket is actually genuine KIA/Hyundai. A Latvian vendor who seems to source their parts from the right place; the bracket was shipped all the way from Germany. Updates in English and remuneration in British pounds.

After assembly, I tidied up the jack by putting the various components of the handle, an extending wheel brace, and the tow hook—all of which had pipe insulation of different sizes—on top of the jack. Creates an attractive setup.
I have a spare set of wheels that are technically limited to 50mph, but they are brand new, authentic KIA 17" 7J steel wheels with a 215/65 x 17 tyre that gives the same rolling radius as the original wheels.

I have more room for storage now that the wheels are lying flat.

This is a picture of the jack mounting and kit that Kia provided. Besides using big rubber bands to secure the tools to the jack, my setup is identical. Along with the wheel, my spare is lying flat and serving as storage. For the next few days, my daughter will be driving, so I will not be able to capture any pictures of my installation.

You can fit any size Sportage wheel into the trunk of a regular car.

Turning the wheel upside down allows for more space to store it, but checking the pressure is more of a challenge because the valve is in the way.

Additionally, it protects the wheel face finish 😉 After lifting the floor flap, I can attach an inflator chuck using my U-shaped valve extension. Here is the link: https://tinyurl.com/m75e8c7v.The frequency of checks can be reduced by reducing the pressure to 60 psi. If the pressure stays at 60 psi for a month, it's probable that further regular checks won't be necessary. Check the valve cap for a sealing washer; many of them are missing.
