keithmerc220
Greetings, everyone. Has anybody had a remap performed on a Mercedes E-Class E280 Sport W211? I would want to ascertain if it is worthwhile or not. Is there any further maintenance required after a remap? Thank you.
bvlenci
It is well worth it, particularly if you let GAD tuning to handle it. No further maintenance is necessary.
Blu_Ray_UK2007
Although it may seem trivial, what is your intended goal? Do you need more "umph" due to necessity, or is it more of a desire for an extra boost? What are the numbers for E320 and E350? Or improved fuel efficiency (improbable). Which stage is it: Stage 1 or Stage 2? I understand that it may seem overly concerned with little details, but it is pertinent to the matter at hand.
bvlenci
I have successfully gained access to all features and functions of my wife's ML320CDI. The fuel efficiency improved from 29 miles per gallon (mpg) to 36 mpg during a trip. The fuel efficiency has improved from 21 miles per gallon to 27 miles per gallon in urban areas, and there has been an additional increase of 40 brake horsepower (BHP) along with a more favourable torque curve. The lads at GAD will provide you with precisely what you need, since they refrain from installing generic files as most "tuners" like to do. keithmerc220
Seeking to enhance fuel efficiency and increase acceleration power, I am now experiencing sluggishness during acceleration. Although I am aware that my vehicle is overweight, I am interested in pursuing Stage 1 modifications, which I believe can provide an additional 40 horsepower. Are there any superior alternatives available?
keithmerc220
The fuel efficiency of my vehicle in urban conditions has significantly decreased throughout the winter season, now averaging at 16 miles per gallon (mpg). Are you aware of any individuals or businesses in Manchester who provide remapping services? GAD Tuning is located in Essex.
bvlenci
I cannot provide a recommendation for anybody. To put it simply, I am located slightly southwest of Bristol. GAD, which is the desired destination, is around 3.5 hours away with favourable conditions. It is a location that I am willing to allocate a whole day to visit, as it ensures the task will be executed with utmost precision.
clk320x4
Is it true that there is now a 10-year automobile age restriction for GAD?
ML350_Colin
We are capable of reading the electronic control unit (ECU) on any Mercedes-Benz (MB) model, but the degree of difficulty may vary. However, it seems that our location is not convenient for the user (op).
DSM10000
Was the MPG improvement shown on the dashboard determined accurately by comparing the fuel consumption from one full tank to another? I have used many diesel engine remapping systems and tuning devices. I have not seen any tangible increase in fuel efficiency in any of them, despite the assertions made. However, on many occasions, the dashboard display has shown a higher miles per gallon (mpg) figure. I fail to see any logical explanation for the potential improvement in fuel efficiency, unless there are modifications made to the hardware, particularly if the additional power is used. I assume that GAD is installed on a dynamometer for testing purposes. If not, then it is a generic map.
clk320x4
That statement may not always be accurate. Indeed, they do. Tuning boxes always impact computer readouts by manipulating the signals seen by the ECU.
