BEERMAN
Greetings, everyone. In the past, I had many Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) automobiles. Currently, I own a DC5 Integra Type R, a Forester STI, and a TT6 Supra. I am interested in purchasing a first-generation V10 with a manual gearbox, namely the white manual model available for sale in Wales. Alternatively, I am also considering a second-generation V10 with a stronic gearbox. Feeling anxious about driving a car for the first time! Any thoughts on the launch control feature? It seems like it would be enjoyable and easy for my wife to drive. I am delighted to be present and would really appreciate any information on the attached Stronic automobile with the registration number AV16UYF. Thank you very much. Geek2232
For those who like do-it-yourself projects, the amount of information available on modifications for this platform and website is fairly restricted. For the Gen 2, I only found one comprehensive post specifically addressing the process of doing an oil change, which is a quite straightforward task. The user's text indicates a lack of information on the transfer case and gearbox fluids, as well as a lack of guidance on how to change brake pads. If you are interested in modifying the exterior of your vehicle, it is important to note that the availability of parts may be relatively restricted to a select few companies. If you do not engage in do-it-yourself activities, then none of the information provided is relevant to you. I am pleased with my purchase of a high-quality vehicle. CheresX
I'm sorry, but I must express my disagreement with you on this matter. I have made several modifications to my R8, such as performing my own oil changes, upgrading the exhaust system (I experimented with multiple options and ultimately constructed my own using a Huracan Performante exhaust), replacing the brakes (including upgrading from steel rotors and callipers to ceramic ones), and even creating my own taillights. All of these tasks were accomplished by using the shop manuals offered by some members, as well as by seeking answers to queries they have responded to. In my opinion, this community is exceptional. Nevertheless, like other automobiles produced in low quantities, the availability of parts for the R8 is restricted.
Rojoires
I have a strong preference for Honda vehicles, with the DC2R being my favourite car until it was stolen, and the NA1 NSX being my dream car. However, I assure you that the R8 is also an excellent choice, since I believe the first generation R8 is a worthy successor to the NSX in terms of its spiritual essence. The manual was of utmost significance to me in the automobile, although the stronic gearbox is also an exceptional feature. Ensure that you watch Ricky's comprehensive guidelines for buyers, and for detailed information on individual vehicles, you will have a higher probability of success by referring to the UK R8 Facebook groups.
