VWDaveBMW
Greetings, esteemed individuals! I recently purchased a 2019 X5 40i vehicle, which unfortunately only came with one key. Consequently, I visited my nearby dealership two days ago to request an additional key. However, I received a call from the dealership this morning, informing me that my vehicle identification number (VIN) has been flagged as restricted, thereby preventing the key order from being processed through BMW. The representative I spoke with was unable to provide an explanation for this restriction and mentioned ongoing communication with BMW representatives to resolve the issue. I express my gratitude in anticipation.
keithmerc220
This indicates that the car has been reported as stolen. I am unfamiliar with the subject matter you mentioned. Please keep us informed about any discoveries you make. The current year is 2021. The BMW G20 M340i xDrive with the colour combination of Verde Ermes/Black was manufactured in July 2021.50. The year 2019. The BMW G05 X5 xDrive40i in Phytonic Blue/Cognac is scheduled for release in July 2022.33.
Allan8932
Was an amount over $200 paid for the acquisition of your 2019 X5? I am commencing at that location.
VWDaveBMW
I want a payment amount of merely $200.
VWDaveBMW
I will undertake the task as requested. I want to contact them tomorrow in order to ascertain the outcome. On the day that I obtained the registration for my vehicle, I visited the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). It is my conjecture that the DMV system had not yet updated the information, leading to a discrepancy between the data retrieved by BMW and my driver's licence and registration. However, this is only a supposition on my part, and I intend to contact the relevant authorities tomorrow for clarification.

VWDaveBMW
This concept seems to be intriguing. It is remarkable how effortlessly one may get a key.
VWDaveBMW
I contacted the dealership earlier today and was informed that there are no changes about the restriction of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for key orders. The representative, a female employee, expressed her lack of knowledge regarding the reason for this restriction. It is disappointing to note that after having made a payment of $500, I am unable to get a key for the vehicle that I legally own.

VWDaveBMW
I received a phone call from the dealer who informed me that the key department lacks information pertaining to my vehicle identification number (VIN), which is the reason why a key cannot be produced at this time. The dealer is now in the process of reaching out to BMW Germany in order to determine the appropriate course of action. I am optimistic about obtaining my key without encountering any complications.
