Chrishazle
Following a close miss for which I was not responsible, I resolved to install a dashcam in my MY24 Evoque. I was unprepared to pay the exorbitant official price set by LR, nor was I willing to have Halfords install one, given my tumultuous experience with their installation of a dashcam on my previous vehicle. I took the vehicle to a specialised dashcam firm. The chief fitter expressed his dismay and stated that it was unfeasible to install front and rear dashcams on a MY24 Evoque due to the configuration of the cabin bulkheads by Land Rover. I find it difficult to accept that LR itself installs a dashcam, however it is equally implausible that a specialised company would decline revenue opportunities. Does anyone have any suggestions? MrGreedy
I owned a MY20 Evoque, in which I had Halfords install a Nextbase front and back camera system. It was previously installed in a Jaguar F-Pace (also fitted by Halfords) without any complications. Shortly after the refurbishment, it began to disrupt the electrical systems. Returned to H's, where it was inspected; aside from a different individual attaching it to an alternate fuse point, he confirmed that it had been executed correctly. The issues persisted, so I consulted an independent RR specialist for evaluation. They elucidated the nature of CAN buses and its potential temperamental issues, suggesting that it should be removed. I complied, and all reverted to normalcy. I still desired a form of recording, so I decided to connect it to the 12v accessory ports. It was exceedingly simple to route the cable from the rear via the pillars and rubber, and likewise, the rear was connected to the 12v plug in the trunk. Both were really effective. No visible wires; installation is exceedingly simple. Did not wish to navigate via the headlining, among other components. Both devices deactivate when the ignition is turned off, unless the parking mode is activated on the front unit. No problems. Attempt that. Chrishazle
Thank you. That appears intriguing. I am pleased that was effortless for you; nonetheless, I request you to envision Laurel and Hardy attempting to install a dashcam. The issue is that I do not possess the same level of professionalism as they did.
MrGreedy
Honestly, I would not undertake any endeavour if it were not facile, and it was indeed facile. Routing the wire beneath the screen's rubber, through the spaces surrounding the glove box and along the carpet of the centre console was effortless. The rear was even simpler; attempt it, and you will observe.

EatSuru
I have installed front and rear dashcams on my current MY26, as well as my previous MY20 and MY23 Evoques without issue. I have also integrated a Cellnet Neo7 battery for the dashcams, which receives power solely from the ignition to charge the battery and operate the dashcams while the engine is running; the battery supplies power to the dashcams when parked. I found the battery in the trunk and established a power connection using a fuse tap from the rear fuse box power socket fuse. After supplying power to the battery, I routed a cable beneath the vehicle's trim to the front dashcam on one side, and then connected a coaxial wire from the front dashcam to the rear dashcam on the opposite side of the vehicle. The installation of the dashcams and the concealment of the cords required around one and a half hours; it was a straightforward task. I have never encountered an issue with the electronic systems in any of my Evoques. I acquired the Cellnet Neo because, prior to owning my first Evoque, I connected the dashcams directly to the fuse box for both parking and driving modes in a Volvo XC60, which resulted in numerous issues until I purchased a dedicated battery. Since then, I have solely relied on this battery to power the dashcams.
Chrishazle
Thank you. I am aware that it is feasible. I may revert to the dashcam company with your response, if that is acceptable.
EatSuru
If you require photographs of the dashcam placements and the cable installation routes, please inform me, and I will endeavour to obtain them as the weather permits.
AMG33D
I installed a straightforward solution for the Nextbase windscreen, with a tap-in loom converter from PowerfulUK. There are no issues. Here is a link to the latest Evoque:

AMG33D
I have another device affixed to the rear window that is connected to the 12v output in the trunk. That is also acceptable.
Matt865
I utilised the identical setup, a NextBase dashcam (with the rear view adapter) with the PowerfulUK loom, and it has functioned wonderfully for the past four months. I maintained a comparable configuration in my Sport for a decade prior and encountered no issues with it whatsoever.
