Howard_silver Posted April 1 Share Posted April 1 Kia has officially apologised for the absence of Wireless CarPlay and has proposed complete reimbursement to all customers who purchased CarPlay dongles. They have acknowledged that the existing infotainment software is subpar and have therefore provided an update to enhance all EVs with Google's superior software, which dynamically monitors the level of charge and notifies users of charger availability. The Managing Director of Kia Europe, IM Jolly, said, "We have recognised that long-suffering Kia owners are observing other brands providing their customers with beneficial features." We really regret that consumers are compelled to see their vehicles become obsolete within a few years; thus, we are altering our company strategy.
