  1. Here we have the Mercedes-Benz variant of the M271 component. Back in the day, there was a service drive to get these fitted.

  4. Both the magnets and the kits for the camshaft position sensors are available at 63motorsport. It serves as a protective barrier against oil ingress and the capillary effect of oil travelling up the car wiring harness to the ecu. It would seem that the position sensors of the camshaft are more prone to failure.
  5. Greetings, I have recently completed this task; your description is really clear and concise. Just so you know, the 2003 model year W203 270CDI on my car has the E10 and T30 sockets. In order to completely remove the top bolt, the E10 driver must be very tiny so it can fit into the narrow space. I managed to fracture the bolt off and free it halfway with my 3/8" socket drive, but it got "caught" on a hexagonal fitting. To fully remove the bolt, I switched to a 1/4" drive 9mm socket. In the event that anyone is in need of purchasing the Torx and E-Torx drivers, I hope this information proves useful.
  6. In most cases, air mass faults will result in an air leak. Before you start throwing components at it, make sure the intake is smoke tested.
  7. Hello, I possess a 2018 C-Class estate S205 220d. I am seeking to get my automobile serviced at an independent facility while providing my own parts. Could you please specify the required specifications for MB coolant and the necessary capacity in litres? I am seeking to dispense the red/pink coolant. One is designated at MB 325.6 - Is this accurate? What other third-party coolant is recommended as OEM? Thank you in advance.
  8. My EV6 GTLS has reached 80 mph on the M25 several times in the same location. However, this occurs solely when the cruise control is adjusted to align with the speed limit, indicated by the green "NAV" on the dashboard. I believe it is incorrectly interpreting a 60mph variable speed limit sign as 80mph. I believe maintaining the cleanliness of cameras is beneficial. To avert this 'misdetection,' adjust the cruise control to little below 70, so eliminating the search for road signs. One must certainly heed alterations in speed limits, as this remains an integral aspect of driving. Regarding your vehicle's "shimmy" with lane keep assist: I understand your perspective, but perhaps you should acclimatise to it. I perceive it distinctly via the steering wheel, albeit at a level I would classify as 'haptic feedback'; the vehic le does not veer left or right but instead follows the contours of the lane gently. 9. The plastic around the bulb holder can be melted; new holders are available from BMW at a reasonable cost. Occasionally, the light unit itself may also be damaged. Additionally, instances of incorrect bulb types being used have been observed.
  10. Merely another fraudulent scheme at the dealer level. 🤬
  11. Uncertain about the location of the component, comments on that YouTube movie indicated that the issue is not exclusive to BMW; other owners have attempted solutions, and some individuals reported success.
