Blu_Ray_UK2007
Greetings. Recently, I have observed an unusual noise emanating from the rear of my 2023 A class vehicle. The sensation may be likened to the sound produced when a pack of 12 plastic Coca-Cola bottles are in close proximity, causing them to rub against each other and emit a high-pitched squeaking noise. I attempted to identify the source of the sound, but I have been unable to determine it so far. Have any of you ever conducted an experiment similar to this? This is most noticeable while driving at low speeds on uneven roads or when encountering a speed bump. Thank you beforehand!
ChatMaven
Applying a dry PTFE spray to all the joints might be beneficial. That or therapy for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) might be beneficial.
bvlenci
To begin, I suggest lowering the seats, taking a drive, and thereafter readjusting the seats. Additionally, I recommend operating the centre armrest by raising and lowering it many times. Is there a detachable parcel shelf included? Remove the item and also engage in a car ride. Blu_Ray_UK2007
Greetings! Thank you for responding! The auditory sensation seems to originate from a location situated above the cranium on the right side, precisely where the airbag is positioned. Is it possible to use a spray to dampen the sound? Blu_Ray_UK2007
In the future, I will take into account the OCD aspect. However, at now, my primary concern is that the price of the thing I purchased accurately corresponds to its worth. Up until now, I had a total of 4 megabytes. Each time I exchanged one, I held the hope that maybe my previous experience was only a stroke of bad luck, and that the new one would actually exceed my expectations. However, each time, they all left me rather dissatisfied. Perhaps my expectations for a combination of metal and plastic are too high 🙂
bvlenci
Are there any grab grips included? Apologies, I am unaware of the specific model.
Blu_Ray_UK2007
Greetings. Indeed, it does. It is specifically an A180.
bvlenci
It is possible, particularly if they are the sort that can be folded up using spring-loaded mechanisms. 🤷🏻♂️
Blu_Ray_UK2007
Thank you! I attempted to exert force and displace all the plastic components from that region, although none of them exhibited any auditory response when being shaken. The troubles are only caused by the vibrations from the road.
bvlenci
Another possibility to consider is if the issue might be related to the door or window seals. A thorough cleansing may be effective.
Blu_Ray_UK2007
I own a spray specifically designed for the rubber seals. What vexes me is that my automobile, which is only 4 months old and was obtained directly from the dealership, should have exhibited superior quality. bvlenci
At the age of 4 months, I would anticipate the dealer to do an investigation

drummer
The issue I had was with the sunroof blind on my vehicle.
Blu_Ray_UK2007
I had made a reservation for the automobile with the dealership from where I purchased it. Resolution: The problem of noise emanating from the car's interior was identified. In order to fill the automobile, they must remove the rear panel. The difficulty arises from the usage of PTFE spray, since the material cannot be stripped off once it has been applied. Consequently, the material will not adhere properly due to the presence of silicone. Consequently, I am now required to tidy it up and make another reservation, leading me to my subsequent inquiry. What is the most effective method for cleaning the PTFE spray that I have used extensively, including on seals and any plastic components that come into contact with each other?Does anybody have any recommendations on how I can clean it? Thank you very much!
