Remapping the W205 C63 to Stage 1.

Recommended Posts

Greetings, everyone. I now own a W205 C63, which I have had for about three years, and I am interested in acquiring a stage one remap. I often encounter a firm named Litchfield in Tewkesbury, which is located around 1.5 hours away from my current location. Alternatively, there is another establishment mentioned in a previous discussion called MSL, situated in Birmingham, which is little over 2 hours away. I am considering going to Litchfield and I am curious if anybody has firsthand experience with getting a remap done there. Thank you in advance

Apologies, but I am unable to provide any feedback on Litchfield. However, I am aware that MSL has a strong reputation and is highly recommended. If you own a C63, I suggest seeking out professionals who have received positive reviews. In this case, I recommend considering a visit to Birmingham.

Alternatively, you may contact Anthony at GAD located in Burnham on Crouch. Additionally, has extensive knowledge about these automobiles. He has successfully completed many tasks for me, consistently meeting my expectations.

Litchfield Imports established a significant presence in the Subaru Impreza community. The Lichfield type 20 and type 25 were developed from the Japanese import Impreza STI, namely the blobeye and subsequently the Hawkeye models. These modifications were done in collaboration with Cosworth, resulting in the creation of the MK2 Type 25. They received extensive coverage in publications such as EVO magazine and achieved many victories in the time attack series, earning different awards. Upon the release of the Nissan GTR, they used their expertise and experience to further enhance its performance via tuning, achieving remarkable results. Ultimately, the Japanese automobile scene declined and they transitioned to the German car scene. On numerous forums, I have seen posts where individuals have collaborated with manufacturers to design and enhance suspension systems, exhaust systems, and other components for a wide range of automobile makes and models. They possess a profound understanding of the subject matter.

Nevertheless, I would still consider MSL and GAD exclusively, since they are highly recommended among the Mercedes community, especially on this platform. While Litchfield may provide a satisfactory map and service, I would recommend going to MSL, since it is just 30 minutes farther and is the preferred choice among the majority of people.

In the 90's and early 2000's, the Subaru scene was quite popular. However, about 2010, it began to decline. By this time, Litchfield, a company, had shifted their emphasis more into the GTR, which was released in 2008. I seldom see any discussions or posts about Litchfield on the forums that I often visit.

Understandable, I made that statement since almost every GTR that comes in my automated search on AT has been modified by Litchfield. Therefore, I would assert that they are still rather popular.

We also do several automobile tuning procedures, particularly in circumstances where the vehicle has previously undergone tuning. The difference in driveability after the procedure is significant.
