Screwdriver_1
Nowadays, we no longer just wash our automobiles; instead, we meticulously detail them. Frankly, I get great pleasure from spending a Saturday afternoon meticulously cleaning and enhancing the appearance of my just acquired A45S plus. Upon applying all of my selected items on the automobile, it now looks excellent. Excluding the wheels! I own alloy wheels that have been coated black, and they consistently seem lacklustre. I have conducted a thorough search for a product on the shelves at Halfords and other establishments, but regrettably, I have been unable to locate any suitable items to enhance the lustre of my wheels. Do you have any recommendations, individuals?
alpaco45
I prefer to clean my automobiles instead of detailing them, since I do not reside in the United States. Is it expected for them to have a glossy appearance?...I have seen that Mercedes offers a range of alternative finishes for its wheels, ranging from a matte appearance to a very glossy finish. bvlenci
Detailing is distinct from both cleaning and valeting. The answer is evident from the name itself. The service includes a thorough cleaning, application of wax, and sealing. If the task requires less than a full day's worth of labour or costs less than £300, it is considered a clean and wax job. Mint Rims from Autofinesse is a product specifically designed to apply wax and sealant to painted or alloy rims. (Additional cleaning chemicals are required for their maintenance)
bvlenci
TV production firms should refrain from including too accurate historical automobiles in their films. Their appearance in the 50's, 60's, and 70's was different.
DSM10000
Applying Gtechniq C5 once year, followed by a spray and wipe with Meguiars quick wax, effectively maintains the pristine appearance of my black wheels. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

alpaco45
Elaborating noun Auto detailing refers to the meticulous cleaning of both the inside and outside of a car, as well as doing small repairs to enhance its overall look. According to the definition, it just has to be free of dirt and not subjected to paint correction or polishing/waxing.
alpaco45
While I do not really like black wheels, one advantage is that they do not show brake dust.
