Climate regulation illumination

Recommended Posts

The climate control in my 1998 R129 functions; nevertheless, despite substituting the bulb in the holder beneath the unit, the light remains nonfunctional, leaving me in obscurity, if you understand my meaning. The old light had evidently burned out.

My multimeter indicates that the replacement bulb is functional and has a secure connection to the holder. Inserting it into the unit's underside requires a push and a 90-degree rotation. I have completed this action, but I suspect it is not establishing proper contact, unless there is an internal malfunction.

Does anyone possess experience with this?

Thank you.
