br1anuk
Hello, I am considering an S63 AMG coupe; however, it is emitting smoke from the engine. It has only 50,000 miles and possesses a full manufacturer service history. The oil level is slightly low; do you have any recommendations, considering it is currently more affordable than normal due to the aforementioned factors? EatSuru
I would refrain from acquiring a smoking M157 engine. Worn bearings, piston rings, or oil seals in the turbocharger may be present. My recommendation is to seek one that is not emitting smoke. An inexpensive AMG does not exist. If anything is undervalued, there is an inherent issue with it. Typically costly. AMG, which denotes All Money Gone, is not an inaccurate representation if one acquires a defective model.
br1anuk
I submitted several bids on BCA, which ultimately sold for 22.5k, inclusive of commission. I believe that is inexpensive, even if the repair costs several thousand dollars. It was an enjoyable experience; I am somewhat disappointed that I did not win, but it may be for the best. I am uncertain about your opinion.
Rojoires
You may experience disappointment now, but will you engage your senses tomorrow? AMG Mercedes vehicles are costly to operate. Heed the Counsel of AMGeed
Matt865
It may be attributed to turbochargers or bore scoring. Based on my experience, when an item is offered for sale with a disclosed issue at a low price, it typically indicates that the repair will be costly. Excessively costly for the current owner to rationalise undertaking. There are circumstances in which it is logical to proceed—if you possess the expertise to reduce labour costs or have components or an engine readily available.
