  1. So, to clarify, Non runflats onto the staggered 191Ms should be considered.
  2. Good day, everyone. Coming soon, I will have an F25 X3 35d M Sport with 20 310M tires and runflats. I could like the design even if I despise the ride quality (no adaptable suspension). Staggered set of E83 standard 191M alloys; front-to-back offset is 8 mm, rear-to-back is 3 mm; so, the 191Ms would fit within the arches (although, I'm not sure whether the distance between the hub and the arch is the same for E83 and F25—anyone?). With 10 mm up front and 5 mm behind, all four would sit 2 mm apart from regular wheels. Is it okay to use shims here? If the offset is 2 mm off-center, it should still appear OK. The weight rating on the 191Ms should be OK since the E83 and F25 are almost identical in weight. The refurbisher has assured me that I will receive the right bolt length, M14s, and that the head will fit the 191Ms. I need persuading on this, so any advise would be fantastic. Safety first, of course. Are the bolts on shims really so lengthy and potentially dangerous? Yours truly. I have reserved the refurbed alloys, therefore this is a serious inquiry. I had planned to mount (BMW-starred) Bridgestone Turanza 6 XLoad tires on it. Best regards
  3. Greetings. The GT Line S has a recognised issue. Prior talks have attributed this to the shark antenna on the glass of the panoramic roof. Upon acquiring the car, it was evidently inferior than the vehicle I had previously had. Identical location. There were discussions regarding Kia's potential resolution, but it ultimately did not materialise. It would be pleasant to believe that the updated model is superior. This might assist me in rationalising my desire to replace the automobile to my wife. 🙂
  4. Greetings I presently possess a 23 registration GT Line S HEV. While I have somewhat acclimated to the unreliable DAB reception, I am curious whether the DAB reception has improved in the updated Sportage. Considering a potential upgrade and it would be beneficial to ascertain improvements. Thank you very much.
  5. Thank you, Darrell, and I appreciate your assistance.
  6. Hello, I have a passenger door that would not open. Do you have any suggestions on how to remove the door card while it is closed? Thank you very much
  7. Regrettably, any substitute will likely endure only half as long as the original
  8. If you are as uninformed about coding as I am and doubt your ability to learn independently, seek a professional who possesses expertise in the field. We examined the car's capabilities, established a remote connection, he executed the code, and so, ID6 with Fullscreen-CarPlay and customisable colour schemes was achieved. I am exceedingly satisfied with both the procedure and the outcome. Anticipating forthcoming modifications.
  9. Hello, I wish to convey my experiences regarding the modifications made to my F57. One must commence at a certain point, therefore... My HU was already equipped with an 8.8" touchscreen, albeit featuring split-screen functionality and, in my opinion, antiquated looks. I believe it is time to update the iDrive.
  10. I am currently considering locating a device that can interpret the information on the CAN, as all the sensors are already present and accessible through the concealed menus. The inexpensive AliExpress HUD devices can interpret the information, but I believe it would be preferable to have a set of analogue gauges similar to those in the initial post to exhibit the data. I am presently descending down this wormhole...
  11. I have indeed perused AliExpress and observed the HUDs you referenced. I am quite fond of the concept of permanent gauges, however. I have noted that the Mighty Car Mods Hilux project utilises the standalone Haltech engine management system to control a stepper motor for the original speedometer, but that will require a restomod budget rather than an AliExpress budget. Richard from Bad Obsession Motorsport has engaged in Arduino programming for the dashboard of Project Binky, suggesting a potentially arduous endeavour in creating a custom build. Further research becomes necessary.
  12. As I anticipated. Utilising cables for connection was my desperate attempt for solutions.
