cumblechook22
Due to the recent hot weather, with temperatures in the late 20s, I need the air conditioning set on Low. The supporters are making quite a racket. Inside the automobile, everything is tranquil and silent, yet outside, it resembles a jet aircraft getting ready for departure. Trevorseaf
It is typical for your radiator fans to sometimes operate at a greater volume than usual. They will activate whenever the AC compressor turns on, producing buzzing sounds that intensify as the AC cycles on and off intermittently. The feature is only evident while the vehicle is still, not when moving. A consistently loud buzzing compressor operating at high rpm may indicate low gas levels in the system. Loud and rumbling radiator fans in a 2022 automobile indicate a potential issue, which should not be present in a new vehicle. whether you are uncertain about recording a video, please share the sounds from both inside and outside the vehicle with us. We will assess the noises and inform you whether everything is normal or if there is any strange activity.
br1anuk
I have never adjusted my temperature control to a low setting. I am now maintaining the temperature at 21 degrees Celsius, which I find enough for keeping the inside of the vehicle pleasantly cool. Occasionally, I lower the temperature to 20 degrees Celsius, but I find it too cold and adjust it back to 21 degrees. When used at low settings, the fans tend to run at maximum speed constantly without regulation, resulting in them likely operating at full capacity most of the time. I had a Renault Zoe with a heat pump that emitted a noise like a jet engine, audible both inside and outside the vehicle. 🤣
cumblechook22
Yes, I forgot something and had to return inside to get it. The car was parked with the engine running and the air conditioning set at a low level due to the heat. The air conditioning compressor was not operating, as is common when the vehicle is stationary, but the noise of the fans could be heard. Rashman4u
There is some uncertainty here. Some are discussing the internal ventilation fan, while others are referring to the under bonnet fan for the AC condenser and radiator. The original poster may not be aware that the components are distinct and capable of functioning autonomously.
br1anuk
The original poster may have been talking about the fan located under the hood for the condenser. They mentioned that the interior is peaceful and quiet, despite having the temperature set to low. Typically, setting the temperature low would increase the internal fan speed, unless the fan has been manually adjusted to a lower setting, which would disengage the automatic mode. cumblechook22
Today, I saw a significant decrease in noise levels outside. Indoor temperature remains constant, but exterior temperature has significantly dropped to 18 degrees. In conclusion, the condenser fan operates with more effort under hotter weather conditions.
