Screwdriver_1
It appears that the majority of individuals here possess older vehicles, myself included. I have concluded my pursuit of acquiring a new vehicle. This prompted me to contemplate the present selection of new BMWs and if any would appeal to me. Ultimately, I may purchase one of the new models in approximately ten years. I can genuinely assert that nothing compares to my F11 535d in terms of suitability for me. Perhaps the solution is to purchase one of the forthcoming 3.0 diesel 5 Series vehicles and retain it as a reserve for when my present car ultimately fails. Is there anything in the present lineup that appeals to you?

MrGreedy
The new 5 Series vehicles are aesthetically pleasing; yet, if I possessed that level of financial resources, I would choose to get a 1990s E34 M5, a quintessential BMW that distinguishes itself in a crowd. badgx
had considered upgrading my 2011 E91 320d to an F31 335d before to the pandemic, but the prices escalated significantly, leading me to abandon the idea. I will not proceed with it and have requested BW Chiptune to incorporate several ponies instead. In light of this year's MOT cautions regarding the front and rear shocks exhibiting "light misting of oil" (the front shock was leaking!) - After 154,000 miles, I have changed all four shocks (Sachs), top mounts, front control arms, drop links, and track rods. The roughness I had become accustomed to over speed humps has dissipated, resulting in a significantly more soft ride. I have invested nearly £1000, but I believe it is a prudent expenditure. The plan involves regular oil changes and preventative maintenance, ensuring it lasts until my retirement in five years, after which I will consider investing a big sum in an alternative option. The only alternative that appeals to me, aside from a newer 3 Series six-cylinder touring model, is a Mk7.5 Golf GTI.
BenTrevor
I examined a 2024 Polestar with 700 miles, originally priced at £47,000, and one is available for sale nearby for £20,000. However, it is a Category S vehicle. Nonetheless, it presents good value for money, and Polestar has a strong reputation for electric cars. This was merely a consideration, but I will share it here today. It is rather powerful. We apologise for the disruption; it would have been a daily occurrence, but I cannot justify spending that amount on a daily basis.
